Stocking presents for teenage boys 18 & 16

Each year I find it increasingly difficult to find presents for the stockings. However they love them, and I love giving them so the search continues.

Successes in the past have been toiletries, tshirt, stationery, bike gadgets, key rings, books, gloves, pizza wheel, hot sauce. Always include a pair of Christmas socks and chocolate coins.

So far on the list this year is a scratch card.

Would anyone like to add to the list please?

Shamelessly placemarking for a very awkward 16yr old

Lush sell credit card size wash things. You tear off a bit and use it in The shower/to wash.
Watch out for gift cards as I’ve found my teens tended to lose them/forget to use them and you run out of time to use them after 1-2 years for many.
Game or Xbox vouchers would maybe be an exception- or ones you can load online onto an account.
Skipping rope, mini weights, wrist strengthen ball thing, grippy finger strengthener, earbuds, travel size smellies, mini alcohol, sunglasses.

I have 2ds’s 16 and almost 12
Things I’ve put in their stockings in the past have been hot choc sachets - 4 for £1 in Tesco's, puncture repair kit, bottle of cider, bottle of pop, toblerone, wallet, underwear and socks, maltesers/crunchie/twix chocolate spread in a jar, jelly belly beans, table tennis balls, mini tools, magazine.
Love this thread for new ideas!

I brought my two older boys Netflix voucher last year which they loved and also I buy those sweets bamboozled I think they’re called where you eat one and either it’s nice or nasty (think earwax flavour or honey) also phone cases are good stocking gifts !

Mrs5boys · 08/09/2018 19:18

Ohhhh also I buy them a can of American drink like cherry Dr Pepper or American sweets and they are usually popular !

DS (16) adds Worcester Sauce to everything so he is getting a bottle of that in his stocking, along with a jar of that biscuit flavoured spread.
he will also get socks and boxers, toiletries, guitar picks and then stuff like a mini-torch, odeon/Costa voucher, chocolate orange, Lush bath bomb....
