He did !

I had the thread deleted as it came across as me being goady and uncaring which wasn't my intention at all but I thought people would appreciate an update.

Little one has been with us just over a week now and is settling in well, she's gorgeous and is sitting by my feet chewing her teddy. She's had her vet check and injections, enjoying being out and about and being socialised, is the softest little thing until her witching hour in the evening where she transforms into a baby crocodile!

Frozen raw carrots will help with crocodile stage. Enjoy!

In some ways, as long as it’s been carefully thought about, Christmas is a good time to get a pup- you have time off to spend with the dog from work usually, and help them to settle in. If it’s an I thought out purchase (I know yours wasn’t) then that different.

I remember your thread! Very gorgeous pup (& that tummy 😊).

We've had pups before at Christmas too and it worked really well for settling in/getting humans trained up etc!

Ahh! I am a little bit jealous. My DH has never let me get a dog but I have decided I am going to in a few years and although I like big dogs I have chosen to have a cocker spaniel. I want a black one like my Grandmas as she guarded me as a baby, she lay under the pram in the garden. I can remember her when I was five.
They are absolutely gorgeous. It was very quiet here at Christmas. Not everyone has a riotous Christmas with masses of people coming and going and lots of tired and over wrought kids. Individual circumstances are not always considered on Mumsnet and some people are too quick to be unpleasant. I'm glad you got her she is gorgeous and so he. Lots of lovely walks cockers are very nosy.
