What do you glaze your ham with?

I am boiling the ham tonight. Will glaze and bake it tomorrow evening when our guests arrive. We traditionally eat hot ham with mustard, pickles and fresh bread for supper on Christmas Eve.

What is your favourite glaze?
Thanks

Boil it in ginger ale. Glaze with a generous mix of muscavado sugar, ginger and orange marmalade and mustard.

Like many others it seems!

Marmalade, Demerara sugar, Dijon mustard and a little ground allspice.
Delish, and smells gorgeous while cooking. Did mine earlier today.

Any combination of the above but add some sort of alcohol liqueur to the glaze.
This year it will be cooked in ginger beer, orange, cinnamon and star anise, roasted with maple syrup and contriu (sp) glaze

We have a difference of opinion in our house so I cut ham in half and do 2. With both I boil first in stock with added veg, spices and clementines and then when cold I remove the net and cut off a lot of the fat

Ham 1 - I mix an egg yolk and some french or hotdog mustard together and slather over the ham and the roll in breadcrumbs. Spritz with oil and pop in the oven for 20.30 minutes until breadcrumbs are golden

Ham 2 (inspired by Nigella) - I heat together orange marmalade with ginger preserves in a pan and when runny I poor over the ham (optional you can cut criss-crosses in the fat). I sprinke a little extra brown sugar and bake for 20-30 minutes until glaze bubbles but not burns
