What vegetables are you doing for Christmas lunch?

I’m doing sprouts (well my mum is bringing those), carrots, peas, roast parsnips, carrot and swede mash and, of course, roast potatoes.

Roast potatoes, mashed swede, sprouts, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.

Mmmmm, I'm hungry!

Roast potatoes, roast parsnips, a few roast carrots for DH, boiled carrots, carrot and swede mash, sprouts (some boiled, some stir fried), braised red cabbage, leeks baked in cheese sauce, DS wants cauliflower.
DD is having cucumber as it's the only veg she likes (with pesto pasta as she doesn't like roast and a few pigs in blankets!).
Had 9 veg sides one year, so I feel quite restrained.

Ensuring of course that we cook double what is required so there is enough for leftovers and a fry-up.

Rosemary and garlic roasted potatoes.
Swede and carrot mash.

Cauliflower cheese.

To go alongside the turkey: pigs in blankets, a pork sausagemeat stuffing from Sainsbs and paxo sage and onion with garlic.

Gravy via a Knorr stock pot. Cranberry sauce in a jar from Sainsbs.

I can't see the appeal in me cooking for days for 1 dinner.

Cheesey or gratin-y sauces have no place alongside gravy, imo.
