Present for friends of my FIL

My FIL is elderly and has been in bad health for a while and needed a lot of extra support. He has two friends who have been brilliant - one he pays to clean his flat and do his shopping, but she does loads more, and another younger lady who is a neighbour and she's popped in to check on him, helps him get dressed and keeps him company and keeps us updated when he's been poorly (we don't live close).

Anyway, he would like to get them both a Christmas gift. Budget about £100 each and he doesn't want to give vouchers.

Any ideas? He suggested a piece of jewellery but what?!?!??
Thanks

I would go with the jewellery store voucher and see if you're FIL would get on board with that. I think that would be a lovely treat getting to go and choose something. The only thing is if they are very plain do they even wear jewellery? I guess they could use it to get a watch or something I suppose.

I was never into Pandora/got it atvall until I was given a beautiful but simple silver bracket and a very plain/simple charm. I also got another beautiful charm when I left my last job. Won't buy any. It I love it and it means something to me. I would never have dangly charms as I'. Quite a plain and simple person when it comes to jewellery! There's enough there to suit most tastes and they wound exchange.

I would get a lovely gift box and put a nice scarf in the bottom of it (£15-20) with a John Lewis/House of Fraser gift card nestled in the top. Something personal (you can choose colours that you think they would wear) but a chance for them to choose something that they like as well.

Or cashmere wrist warmers?
