I will be eternally grateful for any help people can fling my way before I run away and decree no presents will be given Blush

I don't have many people to buy for so it's not completely dire but I just can't get my head around it.

Mum - late 50s and so far I have got a shawl/shrug thing from the woolly hugs craft sale but I need something to go with it. Budget only about 20 quid and doesn't like chocolates or smellies. Have bought gin for recent birthdays/Christmas but not sure I can get something interesting for 20 quid.
Nieces - sisters aged 9 and 6. Have just moved into separate bedrooms and have asked for something for their rooms. Thinking a snuggly blanket and set of fairy lights each? Eldest is quite traditional and younger more quirky but both quite girly so suggestions for fairy lights would be good and where to buy snuggly blankets in a selection of colours so I can try to match/complement decor.

I am happy to order online if it will be here in time. Live close to a largish town and have a couple of free days before Christmas when I can just concentrate on trawling shops. Nearly 30 weeks pregnant though so a more direct idea would probably help than vague meandering Xmas Grin

You can buy nice battery operated fairy lights on Amazon in different themes e.g made from real shells, might be worth a look. For your mum, maybe a stainless steel but nicely decorated flask and some cappuccino sachets. Or there's a brew for two flask set from Lakeland with a bag, two mugs and flask within your budget.

Your sister might appreciate a fob watch? Blooming useful for all HCPs some online here or any jeweller's

Some sort of iPad lap pillow for your mum? like this one, but John Lewis would probably have something

Suggest Nigel Slater's new book for mum (if she's interested in food/reading,), it's beautiful.

I like the "wicked uncle" website for young kids' presents - decent range of prices and you can search by 'creativity' 'outdoorsy' etc as well as by kid's age.

I don't even work them / own shares or anything.
