Suggests for presents a 9yo can buy friends

9yo dd has started a new school and wants to buy Christmas presents for 'all' of her friends. This amounts to 7 flipping girls!!

So, even £5 per girl is going to cost £35.

Any suggestions of cheap presents that would look half decent?

If this a solid group of 8 girlfriends, including your daughter, could they each draw one name from a hat and put a £10-£15 limit on it? Less stress, less spend and everyone receives a single good present as opposed to lots of bits?

Alternatively, there are lovely spiral bound notebooks in The Works for about £2....buy a multipack of gel pens to split up and you could bring the cost down to less than £3 per person.
