We have our first one up in the kids play room a little 4ft one. Tonight me and hubby are tackling the 8ft one for the hall then the 6ft one in the living room.

Me and the toddler did theres this morning which was fun! never again

Oh I love this thread!

It’s a big one this year. When you are standing beside them in the field selecting the one to have chopped it can be a bit tricky to gauge size. I love it!!!

I now have lights - still the same theme less tree with spewed decorations . A small shot incl our dog ornaments - yellow lab current, black lab long gone.

I used to have candle type lights 20 odd years ago but the were the get hot type.

Ours - with deliberately sparse bottom branches on account of my toddler. My 8 y/o DSS helped and I naughtily had to go back and realign some decorations I get really fidgety if decorations are all over the place

Here's ours. Real tree, and everywhere i insist on one even though they are a massive faff and never stay looking as nice.

Etsy has some nice ones Hooray if you want something unusual. Not sure where mine came from - always reminds me of a Tudor May queen - was a gift many years ago from a friend.
