Maybe some little nail polishes or nail stickers, or some miniature bubble bath/bath bombs, hair accessories, gloves - it depends what sort of things they are into, and how big the pockets are. My mum used to do this for me, and continued up until last year when I had a baby of my own, when I was at uni she got loads of absolut mini flavoured vodkas. It's far more fun than chocolate, although some days we would get chocolate coins or little caramels.

Thanks everyone. The hole thing is quite small - mini nailvarnish would fit, not sure they do bath bombs small enough. Is Tiger online?

I got mine tiny fimo charms and the seller was kind enough to put some video game related ones in for DS8. I was going to buy little lobster clips so they could attach them to a bracelet/book bags/make necklaces out of them. They look really cute!

We put in little pieces of paper with jokes on it in some of the pockets

00100001 · 27/11/2017 21:49

Or gift tags with jokes on

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 27/11/2017 21:56

We've got some Lego type figures (DH assures me they fit with regular Lego) for our 8yo from amazon. Last year we got a load of pokemon figures and I broke it up with rubbers, hair clips etc. It's hard with the small pockets!

SpringSnowdrop · 27/11/2017 22:18

I just found these I have ordered, to take the pressure off buying 25 chocolates like last year!

Charms are a great idea! I'll definitely do that next year.

CannotEvenThink · 28/11/2017 10:08

Look on eBay for mini bath bombs, you can get bags of wedding favour type ones that are tiny.
This year I have mini bath bombs, Christmas erasers and Christmas pin badges. All from eBay.some days they will have a sweet or a few nuts.
