Need a main present for teen

Just as the title suggests really,

I have a 15 daughter and I have a few bits for her like pop dolls, a new duvet set and a bag that she wanted but I usually get a main present and a few small gifts.

I usually struggle with the smaller gift ideas but I've got those and I'm stumped as to what to buy her... she has good headphones and a laptop and if I buy her a concert ticket etc I'd have to buy two so she could go with someone which I don't want to do.

I've been watching all the threads on here with interest but I'm totally at a loss so far..she is into stranger things, reading, clothes, not so much make up now tbh, her room is tiny so can't clutter it with anything big. Aghhhhhh Confused

What about a sprocket ? It's a teeny printer which connects to your phone by Bluetooth and prints out photos. I've linked to the rose gold gift set but you could get one cheaper than that without the case etc.

I am giving my 15 year old cold hard cash plus some things to open

I've just bought dd silver doc martens, beautiful, practical and if she wears them 24/7, no clutter!

Electric keyboard
Telescope
Tent
Skateboard
T shirt of a band she likes
SuperDry coat
Jewellery

Have you asked her?

My daughter would be delighted by a load of book tokens, if I gave her hundreds of pounds worth of presents she'd ask for them all to be tokens.

PerfumeIsAMessage · 25/11/2017 13:01

Was going to suggest sprocket. Dd had one for her birthday and loves it.

Bellini81 · 25/11/2017 13:42

Thank you for the amazing ideas. Love them. Just got to decide now but she would love them all. Thank you again

The sprocket looks so bloody fab. Looks like that would be a winner. I didn't even know they existed!

I had a car load of 15 year old bookish, no make up girls in my car last night discussing:
HP Sprocket
K-Pop
Timberlands
Design your own Converse.

Riding lessons.
Young driver day.
Tickets to Harry Potter film set.
Tickets to the RSC at Stratford.
Calligraphy set?
Art materials

Bellini81 · 25/11/2017 15:32

Driving lessons are a good idea too. My 10 year old would like that too.

I wish I had thought about book vouchers but she just bought 8 books on amazon with her own money but that could still be an option, you can't run out of books to read can you

Op I'm so glad you like the sprocket! I'd never heard of them until a month or two ago when I read about them on another thread here and I knew my son would love one. Don't even know if he's heard of them so it'll be a lovely surprise on Christmas morning!

MsJaneAusten · 25/11/2017 17:33

I’ve just added sprocket to my own list 😂

Scabbersley · 27/11/2017 14:18

I casually mentioned the sprocket to dd15 and she said please don't get me one they are a waste of money Shock said her friend had one and it never worked properly

prettymess · 27/11/2017 14:24

Polaroid snap. DD loves hers.
