Want to buy some for Gdcs of 1.4 and 2.7. Or onesie type things with feet - they both kick off all covers in the night, and are too old for sleeping bags.
Would be grateful for any recommendations.

I just looked at Grobags and they now do them up to age 10 but only have a max 2.5 tog. JojoMaman Bebe did a warmer one with zip off sleeves in a larger size (still toddler ish size from what I recall.)

For warmer PJs i bought fleece ones from Primark and layer up with cotton PJs if needed. Bought largest size poss so would last a bit. And socks if feet likely to get cold. Onesies are cute and snuggly but can be a pain when going to the loo.

Merino wool is lovely and warm, and good throughout the year. We use nothing else.

At the youngest's age my daughter was in padded sleepsuits, usually Mothercare and only the 100% cotton ones. Fleece is too hot. The sleepsuits can be a bugger to find and I often got them on eBay. For pjs I found John Lewis do nice thick ones albeit often shrinking in the wash a bit. Oh and jojomamanbebe do lovely pj sets.

I got a bunch of lovely warm pyjamas in a variety of gender-stereotype-free fun fabrics from amazon using the search term winceyette which is the name for the much-thicker-than-tshirts warm cotton fabric. They are excellent winter pjs. I like the button-up style - with kids the secret is to store the pj tops already buttoned-up and get them to put them on and take them off over their heads as if the buttons weren't there.

Slumbersac do bags with or without feet holes and sleeves in 3.5 tog.

I have been told toddlers shouldn't have hoods on their onesies the only place I have found them with feet is primark. Mothercare.com do a really fluffy lovely one without feet.
