Hi Folks,

Black Friday is the shopping event of the year, with huge sales from loads of brands giving savvy shoppers the chance to get their hands on some serious bargains in the run up to Christmas. This year, Black Friday falls on 23 November 2018. Avoid the crowds and get stuck into the sales from the comfort of your own home with our round-up of the best online Black Friday deals.

After the success of last year’s live Black Friday thread, the Mumsnet shopping team will be here from dawn ‘til dusk helping you find the very best deals.

Feel free to post any great deals you come across here. If you’re strapped for time, let us know if there is anything you’re looking for and we will try our best to source a deal for you.

Quick reminder of how this works: we've selected these deals independently by scouring the web for bargains that we think MNers will love. We can’t guarantee that every single product has been at its 'pre-Black Friday price' for more than 30 days, but we only pull out offers that seem to us like genuinely good deals on products we know MNers rate.

We do get a small referral % if you happen to buy through these links and, if you post a fantastic offer but don't include a link, MNHQ may edit your post so that other users can easily find it.

I paid £50 more for XBox Minecraft edition back in Sept 😭 that’ll teach me to start early.

Uptheduffy · 23/11/2017 21:39

John Lewis now has £199 ps4 bundles, plus can pay just £10 more to get accidental damage cover (which my dcs must have!)

KatieMoragsMum · 23/11/2017 21:45

Hi I'm interested in a ps4 but all the bargain bundles seem to contain "adult" games. Has anyone seen one on offer that has something like a Lego game/ minecraft story mode 2 etc? It's for me and 8yr old DS. We aren't into football or violence (!) so FIFA or shooting killing games just aren't suitable. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

LollipopViolet · 23/11/2017 21:47

Game has PS4 Pro bundles for £299 down from £349.

Because I was trading in an old console and some games I ended up paying £183 of my own money for one today Grin

ZombieVampireHedgehog · 23/11/2017 21:47

Ancestry & MyHeritage have DNA kits that tell you where you're from etc on sale. For $10 you can send the report on to another company and get notified about health stuffs.

MyHeritage is £51
Ancestry is £69

ZombieVampireHedgehog · 23/11/2017 21:48

If you know someone with a newer iPhone watch out for Bluetooth headphones, the perfect gift.

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 23/11/2017 21:57

Apologies if I've missed this being mentioned earlier on the thread but Body Shop are running 40% off for Black Friday - got stacks of stocking fillers for DD!

lazyleo · 23/11/2017 21:59

Another one on the lookout for a Nintendo Switch. Thinking I may have to log on to Amazon at midnight to see...

Intomyarms · 23/11/2017 22:16

Does anyone know if high street shops offer the same deals in store as they do online? I am wondering if I return something to Topshop, can I buy it again at the lower online price or is that price only available online. Anyone know?

CupofBeans · 23/11/2017 22:33

Thanks LewisFan that’s what I was looking at! I’ve got it in my bedroom but every time you turn it on it shows a screen saying from argos! And I think my 9 yo dd would twig!

Whatsthisabout · 23/11/2017 22:34

into this might not help you but I heard in John Lewis today that if a price does go down you can go into store and get the difference refunded

toopeoply · 23/11/2017 22:34

Has anyone seen any Vtech Toot Toot on offer?

hiddley · 23/11/2017 22:40

Hollister have 25% off now and free delivery (probably been mentioned).

Will nike.com have deals does anyone know? Bought wrong size runner for dd (bloody growing feet) so have just returned them today so not received refund yet, but have to buy bigger size when refunded, but if they doing a deal, I'll buy tomorrow.

Intomyarms · 23/11/2017 22:43

Thank you Whats. I bought it in a stand alone store. I think I will try it tomorrow but I'm afraid if i wait that it will be sold out online.
