Was instore at Mothercare and saw the Happyland one, it was on offer at £20 down from £25 and I've got that one for DD.
Still not decided on DS7. Argh. Any more ideas?

I’ve made my own with a little present each day, a number sticker on each one and put them in a Christmas crate. I’ve got things like cheap books, novelty rubbers, mini puzzles, dominoes, slinky’s, pack of crayons or pencils, mini top trumps. Mostly from Poundland, Home bargains, b&m. I’ve not spent more than a pound on any one item but it’s a bit time consuming hinting for it all.

JonSnowPatrol · 22/11/2017 17:09

I don't think that would work if I've got a shop one for DD.
Thanks though!

I like the idea of a book advent ice seen usbourne sellers advertising them on facebook individual books wrapped and numbered for each day. You could do similar based on their current interests and buy from book people. DD has expensive book taste so can't do it for her 😂

I always make their advent based on current interests and nearly always cheaper than shop bought. I've done moshi monsters, lego mini figures, yokai watch discs, ooshies/mashems, shopkins. This year is vintage kinder egg toys I've found on ebay that dd2 will love, dd1 has stationary bits bought from poundland/smiggle sale 😊

JonSnowPatrol · 23/11/2017 13:08

Thanks, All.
He says he is happy with just a chocolate one after all, so he's fine for his sister to have a toy one and him have chocolate instead.
Sorted!
Btw anyone still looking, Tinc have theirs on offer at the moment, down to about £22.
