The pressure is on, my dd has asked me to surprise her for her main present. I am stuck.

She has a phone and We have a family iPad and laptop. She’s very much into hair, makeup, fashion and loves dancing around. She doesn’t do any clubs, she prefers to be at home. She doesn’t need a new bike. She still plays with her dolls and barbie but she’s specifically said she wouldn’t like any more

It seems a struggle as they get older.

What about a hairdressing styling head, like trainee hairdressers use. eBay have then for £20.

If she likes hair, make up and fashion how about a make over and fashion shoot type thing?

Does she have a Dot or an Echo? My 10 year old is obsessed with ours and has asked for one for her room for Christmas. Asks her to play random songs all the time, you can ask her for trivia games, quizzes, spelling tests, facts, timers, alarms, jokes, endless things.

Does she like drawing? Mine is getting a graphics tablet. Would be potentially good for fashion design?

Sewing machine is a good idea. Though I got my daughter one last year and she used it once. :(

My DD is 12 but is asking for a mirror for her bedroom as she doesn't have one, I'm thinking one with lights round or something? Also one of those cosmetic cases that opens up with little compartments (her friend brought one round when she had a pamper sleepover for her birthday and she was very envious!) Also loves Top Model range, there is one with a make up palette attached she has her eye on.

My DD loves baking so I have made up a little set of her own equipment in pretty colours, e.g pink mixing bowl and spatula, own piping set, cases, tin, recipe book etc.

A hairdryer? My DD says the only reason she can't dry her own hair is our hairdryer is too heavy Confused so I have brought a sparkly pink lightweight one, no excuses! Grin.
