Craft related gifts for 10/11 year old girl

So I am stuck for a gift idea for my friends daughter who is 10 (nearly 11). The only hint I get every year is that she still loves anything involving arts & crafts, making things etc. I have a decent budget of up to £40 and would appreciate any ideas you have!

How about making her a arts & crafts hamper

How about a jewellery making kit. You might be able to buy from Hobbycraft or eBay. It would include the basics and she can add to it?

I'm getting my 11yo DN a book on how to make slime, and another on drawing your own comics.

What about a 3D pen from Maplins?

John Lewis do some more involved craft kits, like bath bombs etc, the kind of thing you would not give to toddlers! Glue guns are fun!! Tie dye or batik kit?

Any idea what crafts she likes?

Textiles - there are some lovely knitting, sewing, crochet kits in john lewis with good quality supplies to make stylish and trendy clothing or accessories

Painting/drawing - some good quality paints, brushes or pencils

Card making/jewellery making - you could get a short course/workshop voucher for around £40

I know vouchers are a bit of a naff present, but I know two ten year old girls who love crafts and their idea of heaven would be to be let loose in hobbycraft with a giftcard.
(Even though practically anything you can buy in hobbycraft can be bought a lot cheaper elsewhere online)

Otherwise, you could get some nice beading or jewellery making stuff for £40, needlefelting is another fairly easy, but more grown up craft and you can buy kits to make cute animals.

How about a calligraphy pen ink and book to learn calligraphy, at that age my daughter loved learning. It’s very creative and you can continue to practice and get better. I got a lamy calligraphy pen and don’t remember what book but the pen is still good.

Do you have a Costco membership? They have a fantastic jewellery craft set in at the moment. Otherwise fimo is a hit here.

We bought our niece a set like this when she was that age & she loved it.

My 9yo got a badge making kit, Badge Factory by Fashion Angels for her birthday and loved it. They also do an enamel badge painting set which looked good.

Dd (8) had this last Christmas and has loved it. It cost us £40 full price in a last minute dash as she requested it when santa nicely wrote to apologise hatchimals were sold out everywhere. Santa couldn't possibly not get this mummy, I've seen loads of them in smyths toys It's half price in Amazon at the moment.

I'm getting my daughter a calligraphy set. But she's into that sort of thing.

I'd get her a ton of different craft stuff rather than one set. DD was given a bag full of diff paper, card, feathers, sequins etc. Prob about £20 worth and it was a huge hit!

Aldi have mini sewing machines for £40 atm!

My dd has asked for pottery cool and her nan is getting her a knitting bag, some more needles and chunky/fluffly wool (but she's recently learnt to knit and loves it)

I just got my 10 YO a sew craft sewing machine it was 17 half price in the entertainer.

Djeco stuff is really beautiful....and has loads of craft sets.

The Range have a fab craft dept.

I'm getting my 9yo DD lots of different coloured/patterned duct tape (also called duck tape) along with a book with ideas for duck tape projects. She has seen instruction videos on how to make things from duck tape on youtube, seems to be popular.

Silk painting gives really good results.

I have just bought my dd a bath bomb making kit on Amazon, they are made for adults (I think) and are £24.99, they also do a soap making kit which looks good.

The sewing and knitting kits from Buttonbag are really nice
