6 year old dd? any of you got great success stories?

She's very arty, so has all of that, could do with more (mess) craft stuff I guess.

She plays intermittently with barbies.

Same with baby born/Annabelle.

She asked for hatchimal twins thing, but after reading on here, that's a no, same for chocolate coin maker.

But they're all she's asked for!

Oh marble run! Might get that for ds (10) little things are harder to buy for him.

I'll look into the giant cards thanks, she currently uses table mats, so pretty sure she'd like them.

Trampoline... Bought for dd when she was six, still in use now and she is early twenties...

At 6 could you get her doing more complex crafts? Like knitting or embroidery? You can get blunter children’s knitting kits if afraid of the needles.

Also they have fingerlings on EBay and Rosegal x

I have bought DD, nearly 6, some Galt crafts and arts kits, very cheap in Debenhams.

Our local Smyths had Fingerlings on the shelf when I went in there last week.

Your dd sounds very much like mine. Successes have included: knex, magic set, sylvanian families, water colour pencils, art books, sewing machine, fimo - the soft stuff, and a jewelry making set, hama beads, dressing up clothes- particularly a maids outfit!

Best thing I got when DD turned 6 was the personalised book from Snap Dragon (Stop eating the Roses). It has so much personalised detail in it it's brilliant! She still loves having it read to her two years on.

Playmobil pony farm - Dd now 10.5 still plays with hers .

Playmobil swimming pool went down a treat!

Instead of chocolate coin maker I got y D'S a load of chocolate moulds. Lolly sticks etc and we made our own chocolates
