Mouse in Xmas decorations

So the decorations have all come out of storage and it looks like we've had an uninvited guest at some point since last year. There isn't much damage, some cardboard has been chewed and one of my lovely handmade (not by me!) honey-dough ornaments has been half eaten Xmas Angry minimal mouse droppings in the box.

I am really grossed out by this. What's the best thing to do?? Dump all Xmas stuff and start again? Get over myself and realise there's possibly worse up there? Obviously the half eaten stuff has been binned!

You know, it hadn't even occurred to me that they were edible... until they were eaten

If there are any items that can be wiped or washed, do that. Mice tend to dribble urine so it's best to chuck anything that can't be disinfected. In future store decs in plastic boxes with clip on lids.

We made a sock snowman and filled it with dry rice. Got the box down and said sock snowman was half eaten!
