I can't think what I was reading at that age? Something preferably not boy related . Something a bit classic. I think I was reading something like Brian Jacques 'Mossflower' but I may have been older? Or Michelle Migurian?

Lemony snikket series of unfortunate events, dd read whole series three times in the end

My Brother's Ghost by Allan-Ahlberg, dd was reading this for guided reading and enjoyed it so much she asked for her own copy. It's only a short story but dd found it quite moving.

Wonder, by RJ Palacio was loved by both of my dd's
