Football kit for DD - help needed please

My DD has started playing football at school. She has asked for a football kit and boots on her Christmas list but I have no idea what to get her! I don't want to spend too much as she doesn't support a particular team at the moment. Any advice/help greatly appreciated.

I think I'll take her to try on some boots for size in that case.

I was also going to say that if she doesn't support a particular team, it's better to get an international strip than to buy the "wrong" local one.

I'd either go for a foreign team or foreign country. If it's somewhere you've been or have links to all the better. My boys (not football fans) liked to have a strip when they were youngers and had things like Brazil, Argentina, Italy, France, Spain, Turkey as well as teams such as Barcelona and Juventus.

I have 2 DDs who play football. Essentials are:

Blades not studs (metal ones are banned from a lot of teams a they are nasty buggers)

Shorts/top/under armour/socks/shin pads
All available at Sports Direct

Sports direct has everything you will need, and cheap. Shin pads and boots and a Base Layer are the most essential.

Pidlan, do you have the ebay link by any chance? I had a quick look but there were too many to narrow it down.

My dd loves football and loves pink and purple. She's got the pink Real Madrid kit already and we're getting her the purple Real Madrid for Christmas.

We have the opposite problem - dd loves football and real madrid but hates pink or purple!!

I just wanted to update to say that I got her the personalised Barcelona away kit from ebay, it was her favourite present, thank you so much for your help.
