JDSTER I don't really notice the adverts - they are on the front page of suggested kindle books to buy. Once you go into your kindle 'properly' and start reading you don't see them.

I bought the cheap kindles last year...... the children have them and the advert is on the screen before you unlock.....usually for a new book or something. you dont really notcie themafter a while and i dont think worth an extra £10 to get rid of them

cool - I managed to find a really lovely pair of cufflinks for DH for our 10th anniversary - they were silver with a piece of tin inlayed in them and I had them engraved with a tiny wee '10' in the corner. They were from a local jeweller but might be worth seeing if anywhere near you could do similar. Otherwise search in NOTHS - I found loads of ideas on there when I was lookinb

DD1 kinda likes pokemon - she likes to trade the cards at school but doesn't really 'get' it. She was telling me that EX are good cards and thats probably the extent of her knowledge.

However she does like pikachu.

So if I wanted to buy her a single pikachu card, which one would I buy?
