Present ideas for adult family members!

I'm slightly stuck for ideas, but I also intend this to be a more general thread of what people are getting for parents/siblings/partners, or what has gone down well in the past.

DM and mil both want lightweight binoculars. I have lucked out as I will get double value from the research i am yet to do.

Dh and i are having a night away as our present to each othgothger asnd I can't wait! In previous years membership of things has gone down well. National trust or arty cinema or whatever

Mum - David Attenborough dvd box set, currently 17 quid on amazon

Dad - bottle of Cockburns port , cheese and crackers gift set

Sister - Burt bees gift set

Brother in law - Christmas ales gift set

Best friend - Jo malone candle and a scarf

Babysitter - per una scarf, box of Lindt

Teachers - 3 for 3 boots candle

I'm also struggling for my sister and partner - so far I have

• cards against humanity
• sandwich maker
• Formcard
• Toptrumps
• Photo canvas print of their pets

Mum - Molton brown gift set
Dad - cool water aftershave
Sister in laws - necklace & bracelet
Brother in law - next top
Nieces - gift vouchers

Not yet got the MIL or FIL, friends will get some nice alcoholic gift sets from Sainsbury's or something similar

Things that have gone down well in the past are - morphy richards soup maker, theatre tickets for local theatre,

Toasted sandwich maker was my best present last year

Mum - was going to get afternoon tea vouchers but have decided instead on a pile of books, some Prosecco and posh chocs, as I think she'll enjoy these more
Siblings - books. Nice wine stopper has gone down well in the past, or pie dish and pie bird
Adult children - Cards Against Humanity

Basically though, if I can get away with buying books, it'll be books!

Is cards against humanity good? Couldn't tell from the Amazon reviews whether it would be too offensive.

I have done a photo calendar of all the dogs in the family.

Cards against Humanity is hilarious if you are broad minded/not easily offended though we take one or two of the cards out as the are just beyond the pale.

Cards Against Humanity is brilliant, but agree that there a couple of cards that are a bit too out there. I don't embarrass easily but I did over a couple - and I needed a couple explaining to me too!

Parents - theatre tickets
Brother - rugby tickets
Sister - books, serving dish thing she liked in a homey boutique we visited in summer
Sister - Gorgeous throw (so nice also had to get myself one)
Friends-- fused glass earrings
School- costa cards/joules scarves
