Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but Amazon have their regular 4 books for £10 offer on, it started yesterday. Some really fantastic books included, some are worth £9.99 each, so great savings! (I might have just bought £80 worth of books for £20...oops 😁)

Batbear · 20/11/2016 16:00

Couple of quick questions please!
DS1 is 6 and we need something his (male) teacher. Also he wants to make something for DH - any nice suggestions as i'm a bit crap at ideas for this?

Chocolateunicorn · 20/11/2016 16:06

could anybody recommend a marble run there are a few on amazon but i'm clueless Confused thanks.

mootime · 20/11/2016 16:11

Chocolate - we have the Galt marble run. Would recommend that you go for the mega one as it has a splitter which makes a lot of difference!!

I wondered if anyone has a playmobil website code or knows how to come about one?

PurpleHatter · 20/11/2016 16:25

I would second the Galt mega marble run . We have had it for a few years now and its loved by kids of all ages.

However set up a camel camel camel alert or wait for black friday as it often drops in price.

I am debating buying a 2nd one so we can build even bigger ones Grin

Lapinlapin · 20/11/2016 17:02

Bat I have a ds of the same age. For dh's birthday, ds helped me make a photo mug on moonlight. We put a photo of ds on it plds tyoes in his message

Chocolateunicorn · 20/11/2016 17:31

Thanks Mootime and PurpleHatter will definitely be on the lookout Friday.

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/11/2016 17:44

Playmobil - The code posted in the photo on this thread is the birthday code you get for signing up for the birthday club try that one as you might not have enough time to get one sent you sign up now.

Lapinlapin · 20/11/2016 17:50

Arggh! Sorry. The dc distraction me and somehow I posted the message too soon! I was trying to say that ds typed in a message to dh for the mug. Service was really good and it came quickly. Ds then filled it with sweets and wrapped it up.

We've also been to a paint it yourself pottery place. You can paint your own mugs, bowls, photo frames etc.

For the teacher I think I'd go with a bottle of wine or beer. Alcohol is usually appreciated, unless you happen to know he is teetotal!

Lapinlapin · 20/11/2016 17:52

Arggh. Just re-read again. First message should say moonpig not moonlight!

webjunkie · 20/11/2016 17:58

Hi there, I managed to get a couple of codes in Next today. £10 off your first online order over £15. PM me if anyone wants them.

webjunkie · 20/11/2016 18:07

Both codes gone now but I'll be popping in to Next again this week so I'll try and grab some more Grin

MistresssIggi · 20/11/2016 18:10

Marble run - just a warning that I bought an Amazon marble run a while ago and it came in a cellophane wrapper - luckily ds wasn't in when it arrived. Why do they do that with kids toys!!

RJnomore1 · 20/11/2016 18:10

Was someone asking about debenhams discounts? There's a 10% off everything up to 30% off some sections starting tomorrow

cowssheephens · 20/11/2016 18:13

Can someone please PM me if you hava a £10 off £15 in next? For some reason I can't PM. 💐 Thanks

imsorryiasked · 20/11/2016 18:22

IAmAPaleontologist there are quite a lot about if you Google "mcvities digestive tin" inc several on ebay. But all similar prices - depends if you can buy in store or need to pay postage for the Lakeland one.

firsttimer12345 · 20/11/2016 18:35

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this already but o2 priority have a free engraved razor from cornerstone. Going to try and use this plus the £10 off referral to get a few things for DH.

Batbear · 20/11/2016 18:42

Thanks Lapin, we have done a photomug before, but maybe one he's drawn would work.

DH will be working xmas day so he'll need some treats!

Nursenat100 · 20/11/2016 18:42

Anyone got any thoughts on the Victoria's secrets sale? Not sure if to hold my nerve till Black Friday. Anyone know if they have done anything in previous years?

doyouwantamedalorsomething · 20/11/2016 18:56

Anyone have an Asos code?

RoastieToastieReastie · 20/11/2016 18:57

Heart Christmas radio station is the only festive station my dab can pick up and after three days of listening to it it seems to be the same songs over and over, I'm a bit disappointed.

Littlemagic I'd go with a bloom and wild subscription to give her bouquets of flowers delivered.

the kano offer is great - we bought one recently and it is a great piece of kit. Lots of coding opportunities, an inbuilt game to teach them about how computers work etc. Def recommend!

OhCobblers · 20/11/2016 19:06

whoever was looking for a playmobil advent calendar, Argos have the Police one and the Pony Farm one showing in stock for £12.99
