I got the Pokémon book for DSS and it arrived yesterday - it's really solid and looks great. It's also on the 3 for £10 amazon do so if you can find anything else, it's even more of a bargain.

Does anyone know about the elc/mothercare toys Black Friday offers - the email says an sneek peak and the offer expires 20th Nov but isnt Black Friday is next week? Also, can anyone stack the 20% code with the deals? I can normally use the birthday club voucher with deals but it wont recognise my code even against full price items at the moment?

Nipped into Aldi today to get stuff for raffle hampers for school. Got some prosecco pannetones in lovely teal and gold tins for £5.99 a piece and smaller tins with chocolate and raspberry biscuits for £2.49. They had lovely looking chocolate slabs in the same range and the mince pies in the range looked absolutely divine. Worth a look if you're after things for a nice hamper but don't want to spend a fortune.

Late to the party with the large soft toys however today DS2 has seen a massive (I think Melissa and Doug) giraffe and white tiger that he suits wants for himself and his brother... reluctant to spend nearly £70 on a giraffe he also hasn't asked for anything else...

I have been RL shopping Next had pokemon tshirts but in the boys section but they were unisex. Id have bought one if ds didnt already have a million tees!

rudolph I was looking in the tesco gift catalogue yesterday and saw quite a few batman things, I wasn't really paying much attention as I have 3 dds who aren't interested in batman in the slightest but I remember seeing a batman 'room' so bedding, decor etc. And pretty sure there was other stuff too.

I was just coming on to post the link to it here in case in helps anyone, and then I saw Universal's post.

On closer inspection it says the deals end 20th November. I put something in my basket as a test and you can clearly buy the things now. So I'd call it more of an early sale, than a sneak peek!

They always look like so much fun for me not the dc! but I worry it might be an amazing advert that makes them look fab but the reality would be akin to that of Mr Frosty - and that it won't do what it is supposed to and have expensive refills...

At £15 they seem quite tempting but would like to know the reality first!
