I would agree also about sizing up in gap- my DS is a young but tall 4yo & think his latest hoodie from there is 6-7! Fits him fine with a bit of growing room

IAmAPaleontologist · 18/11/2016 14:32

I just bought theatre tickets for dd's birthday on Dec 23rd. Less than bargainous! Should be fab though.

Badders123 · 18/11/2016 14:33

Went rl shopping today...
I thought I would treat myself to an m and s advent calendar but I couldn't find a single thing I wanted to buy!
Shops were really busy too so I didn't stay long

Howaboutthisone · 18/11/2016 14:37

Are there any current molton brown codes about by any chance? I'm sure they had some last year but haven't seen/missed them this year.

Wiifitmama · 18/11/2016 14:37

snooky - thanks so much! I just sorted niece and nephew for way less than I was going to spend on amazon and picked up a couple of bargains for my boys in the clearance section.

mammy Love of Coffee do 4 taster bags of coffee for £9.99 - you can choose any four from a choice of nearly 30 and choose whether you have beans, fine, medium, coarse ground etc depending on how they make their coffee

HighDataUsage · 18/11/2016 15:00

Hobby craft has a Melissa and Doug desktop easel set with paints, paper & crayons for £20. It would make a really nice, substantial gift for the 3-8 age range.

Hobby craft also has build a bear clothes sets reduced from £3.50 to £1.50

The set of 60 gel pens is still £5 in Hobby craft.

Don't the most exciting, but if you need any little bits of toiletries and like me don't get in to town, the Superdrug.com are offering free delivery on any spend if you sign up to their loyalty card.

Carrie76 · 18/11/2016 15:06

Carrotvan are you a coffee drinker, any pointers on what to buy?? I want to do a hamper for dh he buys beans and grinds them. All I know is he likes strong coffee, I'm a tea drinker!!

LeavesinAutumn · 18/11/2016 15:48

Chocolateteabag · 18/11/2016 16:10

Ness / Confuugled

I have a Baavet Wool duvet and it's fab. I bought one of their seconds from their online shop - couldn't see what was second about it though. It smelt a little sheepy when we first had it but that wore off after a few days (and I had been warned about that) but lovely and warm now, but fine in summer.

insan1tyscartching · 18/11/2016 16:10

My order from www.halfcost.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreCatalogDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=11&catalogId=10001 arrived today. Incredible value and free postage no idea how they are making any money as parcel was well packaged and goods inside really good quality. Thank you to whoever posted.

Unluckycat1 · 18/11/2016 16:25

I went into Home Bargains for the first time today. I'm not very good in shops like that, they make me want to run away, but I stayed long enough to find loads of vintage looking wind up toys for £1

There was dinosaurs www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00D91B0Y2/ref=pd_sim_21_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=4VVS67SQ8XFRVMC7RDW0

But also build your own cars and animals. And ones that you didn't have to build, robots and nutcracker men. Thought they would make sweet stocking fillers :)

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 18/11/2016 16:30

Not sure if it's been mentioned but missguided.co.uk have 50% off everything until 5pm with the code naughty30 good for teens clothes or maybe party clothes too.

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 18/11/2016 16:32

And mothercare have up to 60% off toys, lots of happy land stuff listed.

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 18/11/2016 17:06

Ness1234 · 18/11/2016 17:06

Chocolateteabag and Confuugles thanks re comments re the baavet, not cheap, but all fab reviews, now to decide on either that one or the Devon wool one that John Lewis sell.

Ness1234 · 18/11/2016 17:09

Joules have 40% off, I think it's just jumpers and knits.

counttotenandbreathe · 18/11/2016 17:13
