Try B&M for a Paw Patrol busy book, ours had them today when I was in, I think they were £3.99.

confuugled1 · 17/11/2016 16:17

Lotis Debenhams had 70% off some of their Tripp luggage recently - if they don't currently and you don't need it immediately it's worth watching as the prices often go down by 50 or 70%.

LostMyRubySlippers · 17/11/2016 16:21

wheresthecoffee I can never manage to find bargains on busy books near me! But the larger branches of Asda I've been to recently have had about 5 or 6 different ones for a fiver, inc paw patrol.
Failing that if you get desperate, I saw them online at at studio for £7- if you combine with a new customer discount/ free postage code it could work out ok if you needed other items- but maybe not a bargain as such

AmyMumsnet · 17/11/2016 16:22

Hi everyone,

Amazon have Amazon Prime year-long memberships discounted to £59 until midnight tomorrow, which might help some of you get your bargains delivered quicker! They've also started their Black Friday deals and today there's quite a nice Peppa Pig construction set which is discounted for a limited time.

We've also managed to secure:

15% off at Lily's Kitchen which does really lovely advent calendars for your DDogs and DCats for under a tenner with code MUMSNET15

20% off with Red Letter Days, including special offers and Christmas gifts with code MUMSNET.

25% off selected cashmere and merino from Woolovers with code CMCT25.

cathfizz I read that as a 200m toy snake. Shock

jojo1983 · 17/11/2016 16:26

Hiya can anyone help I'm currently looking for a teenage mutant ninja turtles advent (chocolate) calendar and a teenage mutant ninja turtles 2017 annual if anyone has seen these pretty please Smile

confuugled1 · 17/11/2016 16:34

If anyone needs to buy stuff in paperchase, I just bought something small and was offered free membership of their loyalty club which gives 15% off your next purchase within a month and more if it's over £50. Works on and offline apparently.
So if you have got a big purchase there it's worth signing up in advance - not sure if you can just ask to do it or if you have to make a (small!) purchase first!

dontstopmenow · 17/11/2016 16:41

I have a Lakeland voucher - £5 off a £30 spend. The code is 1180 0214 6161 1061
. Hope someone can use it.

JDSTER · 17/11/2016 16:53

I've had a Christmas radio station on all afternoon Grin. Didn't know they existed so thanks to whoever mentioned it!

steppemum · 17/11/2016 16:55

page 10 already?!!

I went RL christmas chopping with a friend in Bristol today, had a fab time and got loads of good stocking bits.

There is a Tiger there, I have never been in one before and it is brilliant - especially for older kids stocking stuff. Most items £1-£3.

Great bargains on crackers in The Works too.

handmademitlove · 17/11/2016 16:56

Jojo asda had them in today - end of an aisle display

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 17/11/2016 16:59

Lotis I found some great ones on house of Fraser who are also doing luggage sale. The Debenhams ones weren't quite what SIL was after. And I got cash back on top cash back.
My teenage daughter showed me the unidays app yesterday. Any student (including secondary school) can sign up and get discounts for usual shops. Usually 10% but better than nothing.

LotisBlue · 17/11/2016 17:02

Thanks confuugled those ones look great

jojo1983 · 17/11/2016 17:07

Handmade
I looked in Asda yesterday will have to try the other one thank you

thedragonflyinn · 17/11/2016 17:11

Wheresthecoffee I got my DS's Paw Patrol busy book from Dobbie's - don't think it was bargainous but if you are struggling to find it might be worth a look!

confuugled1 · 17/11/2016 17:17

MrsDiddly have a look on ebay - do a search on party food boxes as a starting point.

There are loads - some very cute gingerbread house ones that were on the last thread I think - £3.50 for 10. Or pale blue with white snowflakes - £2.80 for 10 - or a gazillion otber different styles and prices. Those were just the first ones to come up.

They also have the advantage of being sold to serve food from so hopefully should be safe for the fudge.

Eva50 · 17/11/2016 17:17

Ds3 has just presented me with his list for Santa. He was pleased to tell me he was only asking three things and surprises for the rest. He wants a supermario maker ds game, and x-box game and Lego Minecraft. This is not going to happen be cheap. Anyone heard of any bargains?

NormaSnickers · 17/11/2016 17:19

Wheresthecoffee
Not sure if this has already been mentioned but TK Maxx always seem to have loads of different Busy Books, I'm sure I got DS a Paw Patrol one last year from there, probably £3.99.

WhatCanBrownBearSee · 17/11/2016 17:20

I managed to get a paw patrol busy book in Asda yesterday too, they're with books not toys which confused me somewhat.

Ekorre · 17/11/2016 17:23

Lottie doll on Amazon lightening deals right now

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 17/11/2016 17:26

Has anyone seen any novelty (but bargainous obvs!) flash drives around? My mum leant DS one and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever and wants his own. Grin I'm sure I have seen Lego etc ones around but can't remember where...

WheresTheCoffee · 17/11/2016 17:41

Thanks everyone, sounds like I need to go RL shopping!Smile

Whitecovers · 17/11/2016 17:45

Thank you to the pp who posted about the drill game thing on Amazon for £18. Ordered it for ds along with a jigsaw. Really wish I had seen Mummyshortlegz add on item before I ordered 🙄

Does anyone know if Amazon still do a months free Prime trial? I got one last year and it was a massive help.

Whitecovers · 17/11/2016 17:51

Just set one up with dhs email address. I didn't think to log out of mine to see the offer!
