Anyone else seen it? Guardian link

I loved it. The song I could take or leave, but loved the sentiment behind it.

Nah, far too long and 'poor me'. Kev the Carrot wins

EsmesBees · 14/11/2016 19:51

It is a bit 'poor me'. I didn't have much sympathy for him. All he seems to have going on is a job, some commuting issues, and buying some presents. Which is pretty lightweight in terms of burdens and responsibilities really.

dementedma · 14/11/2016 19:54

Too long. My favourites are Kevin the Carrot and the M and S one!

gunting · 14/11/2016 21:01

I think Corden might be the only 'C' word more prevalent than Christmas at the moment. I'm sick of the sight of him.

This ad is too long and I got bored.

1happyhippie · 14/11/2016 21:10

I like it, but it was too long.

My favourite is Aldi's Kevin the carrot so far

Owllady · 14/11/2016 21:19

I liked it but IT'S NOVEMBER! It's not my daughter's birthday until the end of November and its annoying me it's being overshadowed by Christmas in November

Lilmisskittykat · 14/11/2016 21:20

It's a long one isn't is it!!?

Think m and s is the winner this year x

honkawonka · 14/11/2016 21:24

It was just on the ads for I'm a celeb and I couldn't believe how long it was. My fave is the House Of Frazer one (coz of the music)

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 14/11/2016 21:27

I was traumatised by the robin's injuries in the waitrose advert, poor little chap.

I don't think there will ever be a Christmas advert as wonderful as Mog again!

GingerIvy · 14/11/2016 21:39

When you think about it, there was an ad a few years ago that got blasted as the mum did literally everything, while the dad does nothing. This time, the dad is doing stuff, and people are asking what the mum is doing? Grin We need a "mum doing some, dad doing some" advert, I guess.
