How many presents?

I've read many threads recently regarding presents. Just wondering how many presents you buy for each dc? I don't buy them much at all apart from Christmas and birthdays but I love them coming down in the morning to a massive pile of presents so I tend to buy between 30 and 40 each. Anyone else or just me???

Mine have between 15-25 presents each including stockings but excluding chocolate, books and the family presents. They then get from godparents, aunties and uncles, grandparents and greatgrandparents. Every year I say I'm not going to go overboard but I cannot help myself! I love Christmas! They only get xmas and birthdays so I don't feel so bad about going a bit nuts

My 2 are getting 6 each plus a shared gift this year. That doesn't count stockings and I pad those with some pretty good stuff - a DVD each, small Lego set that kind of thing.

I'm fine with it - they will be out of fun toys and on to small expensive gadgets far too soon...might as well enjoy it while I can.

Stocking, but it's big and takes a bit of filling. Sack of medium presents, one main present. Probably 20 things to open from Santa.
Then he gets things from grandparents and a few friends.
