Came home from work to find we'd been burgled tonight. First thought was my present stash but then remembered I put it all in the loft last weekend. Phew but ggggrrrr.

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 10/11/2016 22:53

Oh Organised I'm so sorry, it's a dreadful thing to have to go through. Thank god for your present stash though Flowers

Kat3L · 10/11/2016 23:04

So sorry to hear that Organised

NextInLine · 10/11/2016 23:05

What are people's thoughts on Lucy the Dog? It's down to £23 on Amazon.
I've seen mixed reviews. Or can anyone recommend an interactive pet/animal?
Thanks

caffeineanddryshampoo · 10/11/2016 23:08

Not sure if this has been mentioned as I can't keep up but M&S has 50% off some beauty sets www.marksandspencer.com/l/offers/beauty/deal-of-the-week%20?extid=em_nso_161110_BE2&ep_mid=6039151&ep_rid=463232853

winewolfhowls · 10/11/2016 23:14

Haudyerwheesht · 10/11/2016 23:25

starrynight19 · 10/11/2016 23:26

Oh Organised that's horrid Sad

WhirlwindHugs · 10/11/2016 23:33

I'm so sorry organised - hope insurance is all sorted quickly.

randomcatname · 10/11/2016 23:42

I don't often find a bargain so I'm happy to contribute that Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit is half price on Amazon at the moment. Seven pounds something but not many left.

SnowBodyforrrrm · 10/11/2016 23:53

That's utterly shit organised I hope you're okay. We had an attempted break in last week while I was in alone with the 4 kids 😡 Bastards have no scruples. I hope they didn't take anything irreplaceable.

Thanks to the poster who told me to check studio for the engraved glasses! now if only they'd get the Xmas pug Theo back in stock

LBOCS2 · 11/11/2016 00:00

Oh Organised, that's rubbish. You end up feeling so violated with it too, strangers going through your things (and then the police - doing their jobs but feels exposing). Glad your haul was safe though.

I just spent a happy half hour on the Studio24 website. I love personalised things! The two big DC will be getting a set of personalised pencils in their stockings, and the baby is getting some cutlery with her name on. I was also eyeing up a rocking horse but it was out of stock - probably not a bad thing (although if anyone does spot a rocking horse suitable for 12-18mo for around £30, please do point it my way!)

Organisednotobsessed · 11/11/2016 01:19

Thanks for the nice messages. Sorry to hear about your incident Snowbody.

Missed out on a whole evening's online Christmas shopping too Wink

unicornsarenotjustforchristmas · 11/11/2016 01:54

Oh organised!thats awful Flowers
Boots star gift is the ted baker treasure trove £23 down from £45. Looks quite nice for teens

Regressionconfession · 11/11/2016 06:33

unlucky cat I got DD a wind up tin robot. You can get them really cheap from China sellers on eBay. Or if you don't want to risk ordering from abroad about £5 from UK seller.

Regressionconfession · 11/11/2016 06:43

Sorry if it's been mentioned but Aldi are doing charm bracelet Christmas calenders for £10. They're doing an adult and child version. I don't know what the quality will be like but might try to get one for 3 year old DD who likes collecting treasures! In shops Sunday.

RoastieToastieReastie · 11/11/2016 06:44

Unlucky dd has looks like an older version of this. It drives us absolutely mad but dd likes it. Only issue is the discs always get stuck in the mouth and don't come out and it speaks with what sounds like a mixture of a Chinese and Scottish accent and we can't always understand what it says. Dd does enjoy playing with it but inhave to say it only gets played with once in a blue moon.

Organised how terrible, hope you're ok and not too shaken up.

So sorry to hear that organised how scary :(

Nextinline the mechanical soft toys like Lucy and JJ the pug have very hard bodies and legs as the mechanical bits are under there and can (imo) get broken easily. We have JJ the pug which my DD HAD to have and cost me £50 but she barely touches it. Her friend has Lucy and it's the same scenario. They love it at first but the novelty wears off very quickly.

Unluckycat1 · 11/11/2016 07:08

Thank you regression and reastie

I hadn't thought of a wind up robot! Just ordered one as they are so cheap and will keep the bigger one in my watch list while I determine how much he is expecting this robot to do.

organised that's so horrible! Really sorry.
