I thought I was done, but DH has just suggested we get DS an iPad for Xmas. I had given him mine, but apparently it is too old to enable him to do the maths game homework app thingy.

As you can tell, I am super technical (!) but I have been ignoring all tech recommendations as I didn't know I needed one.

I guess black Friday is the time for the best deals, but any recommendations as to which tablet to get? DS will be 7 by Xmas. I thought if we got him a keyboard he might be able to use it for homework too for a few years?

No Red goody bag here either, I ordered on 28th September. Hearst customer services have been quick to reply both times I've been in touch to query though..the current expected date is 14th November they said last week!

roastie Jessops are usually the place to go for telescopes, they cater for all price ranges. Have a look there and narrow it down to a model and then see if anywhere does the model cheaper?
