I've just signed up to this and been allocated a boy aged 4-7.
My DS is only 2 so I don't know what 4-7 year olds like, any suggestions?

Budget is up to £20 Smile

I've just signed up, would never have known about it if it wasn't for this thread - thanks nannyplum
The website isn't that helpful unless I've missed a bit somewhere... are you supposed to wrap the gift or do they want to be able to see it? Or is all the useful info in the confirmation email I've not received yet?!

Ilovenannyplum · 04/11/2016 22:48

Cant
I don't think you gift wrap it, I'm just going to put mine in an open gift bag with my reference number on the tag.
They check them over to make sure they're safe and not been tampered with and then wrap them before the child receives it

That's how I understand it anyway!

Thanks, I cross posted with the arrival of my own email anyway!
I have got a 15yo girl - quite excited about choosing something now :)

Morning all! I got an 8 year old boy but my DS is only two so a bit stuck for ideas! Would they like the Marvel/superhero stuff at 8? Thanks Smile

On another Christmas thread people with older teenagers were recommending cinema or Nando's vouchers for gifts. They are quite tricky to buy for. I was also thinking headphones might be good.

I had an 11 year old boy last year and went for Lego. I hope he enjoyed it.

I have a 10yr old girl - was thinking david walliams book, smiggle watch? or would stationary be better and maybe something crafty + a bath bomb...
my other idea is a lockable diary/journal or maybe a cd but she maynot have cd player.....
what do you think ??

Just giving this a subtle bump Grin

Was paying for my presents then realised that I had forgotten my purse, amazing MIL just dropping it to me and I'll go back and buy them.

Entertainer have a very good sale for those taking part in this

That link's drop down menu for choosing which borough you drop off in seems to be in alphabetical order and stops at H.

Anyone know if that's likely to be a glitch and I should just try reloading the page later? Or does it mean that other boroughs now have enough, and it's just coincidence that those still allocating are early in the alphabet?

Ilovenannyplum · 16/11/2016 10:35

This is what I've got, all 3 bits came to £9.50. Hope my recipient likes it Smile

Squirm
My borough begins with B so I have no idea if it only went up to H initially. Sorry I realise that's not very helpful Blush

Squirm - I think there were more boroughs when I looked before so maybe they're all full? I hope so!! I can see Redbridge at the bottom of the list so doesn't stop at H?

yumyumpoppycat · 17/11/2016 08:15

My borough isnt on the list so planning to do the one I work for unless I find a similar project here.
