As well as the lounge/dining room?

I keep looking at my kitchen wondering what I could put in it to make it look festive this year. We have Christmas teatowels but that's it at the moment.

We do tree in sitting room (at front of house), in warm white lights and red and white Scandi decorations. I hang three white wooden stars in the front bay window, and have some more lights over the fireplace. DD's Advent calendar (a picture one) and the nativity scene go on the bookcase, where I also put Christmas cards.

The hall has a gold sunburst mirror in it, and I hang a red berry and twig wreath on that.

In the kitchen I normally have a string of red berry lights, a red spotty oilcloth on the table, and red wooden candlesticks on the table and kitchen windowsill.

Upstairs we don't normally do much, but I might hang up some Christmas decorations from the overhead lampshades this year. DD's room has just been decorated and I bought some battery fairy lights and a felt Christmas garland in the sales last year for her room, so I'll put those up. I was thinking about getting her a mini-tree for her room, but I think I might wait another year or so for that (got to leave some nice ideas for future years! :))

Oh and I normally hang a wreath outside on the door. My neighbour last year had some fab outdoor lights in the foliage in her front garden, so I might copy her and do something similar this year.

Porch -
Christmas door mats
Tiny tree with fairy lights
Wreath
Cling on snowflakes on glass panes

Hall
Cling on snowflakes on mirror garland going upstairs
Will do something on the console table now dd is old enough not to drag it all off.

Kitchen
Fairy lights on top of the wall units
Fairy lights around mirror
2 clear acrylic deer ( biggest about 30cm tall)
Silver coloured candelabra nestled on a silver charger plate with white sparkly "sand"
Candles
Themed hand and tea towels
More snowflake window clings

Bathrooms
Snowflake window clings on shower doors and mirrors
Christmas themed soaps and towels

Dd1s bedroom
Tree and hideous amount of glittery stuff on it.

Nursery
Bought a paper star for the window and baubles to make a garland but since she never actually goes in there except to put away/get clothes, I didn't put them up last year.

My bedroom
On the hunt for nice winter themed superking bedding ( not Santa or Rudolph) for 2 Christmases now.
Few cosy blankets
Fairy lights which haven't been up last few years as dd cosleeping with me, but think we can do it this year.... But not next as dd3'will then be at the curious age!

We also have acquired a "fairy lights curtain" with star shaped lights plus a few other things in the January sales but no idea where they will go.

Living room has been redecorated so old decorations won't match < the horror> but I'd quite like to just do loads of twinkly lights this year and go all out with the playroom tree instead.
