Smiggle Advent Calendar?

Thoughts?

Dd 9 has had Playmobil ones up until last year, but I think she's probably a bit old for another one. I was hoping they might bring out a Lego Elves one as she is obsessed with them but no such luck. I have now come up with the Smiggle one as an alternative and it has just been released online at £28.,... Is it worth it? She loves Smiggle stuff so just wondered those who've bought it previously what your thoughts/ Dc's reactions were?

Don't want to ask her as I want it to be a surprise on December 1st.

Update: smiggle responded to my email - they apologised for the problem and said they will post out replacement toys. My friend took their yoyos to a store and they were also replaced with apologies for the inconvenience.

It seems they have had a lot of complaints and are trying to do the right thing ....

I've had big issues with Smiggle quality. My girl loves Smiggle but the quality of the last three item has been rubbish.

The jellybean flashing watch connectors are rubbish and were replaced and then fixed by a watch person several times.

We got a filled pencil case and the nips were missing on the gel pens leading to ruined clothes and school books.

Something else broke immediately too.

So I'm a bit about Smiggle tbh. It seems cheap tat for high prices.

But in fairness they do sort things that are broke fairly easily.

Not an advent calendar thing but I bought a smiggle rucksack for my niece's birthday which broke after about two weeks and had to be replaced. In fairness to smiggle this was done without quibbling but it's a shame that the quality doesn't match the price you pay for the items.

Yoyo was a huge hit yesterday but sadly met its demise by bedtime!

I bought a gift set with a part filled pencil case in it last week, the display one was missing a roll of tape, they went through stock to find another, this was missing a pencil sharpener, the third was missing a rubber!
Children do love the place though.
