As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

Firefly has reported the dates for the Sainsburys 25% off clothing this year are likely to be:
23-31 August
20-26 September
25-31 October
28 Nov - 5 Dec
Then 16-22 Feb 2017

Camel camel camel is a great amazon price tracking tool here

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit.

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

Also my DS wants a robot themed birthday party- has anyone seen any cheap paper plates, napkins, decorations etc with robots on them?

Starlingsintheslipstream · 24/08/2016 17:15

itmustbemyage Thanks for the WeirdFish sale tip off. Just spent £80 odd on much needed stuff for myself. I used WFNJTEN74 for an extra 10% off.

AdmiralCLingus · 24/08/2016 17:32

I'm on the hunt for lalaloopsy tinies if anyone spies any... There's a few packs on eBay buy up at ridiculous prices :( dd loves the few that she's got and I've seen they have the bracelet maker in the entertainer for £12 but we need some more of the actual characters! Trust my child to start liking something that seems to be obsolete :(

Nzou1050 · 24/08/2016 17:36

Thanks so much for the Optimus Prime link Dilly Doily looks brilliant.

DandelionAndBedrock · 24/08/2016 17:36

Dillie Wilko has wall cling robots here. Any good?

AndersArms · 24/08/2016 17:39

Checking in! Have done most of the DC presents (must not twitch) and now planning on covering the adults gradually between now and Christmas.

Thanks Sardine for the NOTHS code, have been eyeing up a couple of things for a while and the code made me crack on.

Thanks also for board game recommendations, have ordered a few. Desperate for the HP trivial pursuit but no one here would be able to play it with me.

Couple of links / codes from me:

ELC seem to have a big sale on with lots of things discounted, including the ELC wooden kitchen for those who were looking - down to £100 from £150 here, although we have and love the ikea one and agree with all the recommendations for that one.

The Book People have 20% off today only with the code SUNNY20

Photo box have an extra 20% off with the code EXTRA20 until Thursday night

QueenUrsula · 24/08/2016 17:48

My Yankee candle advent calendars came today and they're brilliant, much bigger than I thought they'd be.

But, I've just realised that I won't see the the two people I bought them for until Christmas Day 🙈 and I'll obviously have to give the calenders on 1st December so I'm going to have to buy two more presents for them now although that actually fills me with excitement to do more bargain hunting 😁

Theimpossiblegirl · 24/08/2016 17:52

I wouldn't bother, Improbable. We're both nice so if there's a bit of confusion no-one will mind. As long as I don't come on after wine and get confused about my own posts.
:)

OutwardBound2016 · 24/08/2016 18:29

Admiral, pretty sure the Entertainer had some of these today, they also had the big dolls for £10

SelfieStick · 24/08/2016 18:35

Just ordered my 3 year-old DD a mermaid blanket...my first official Christmas 2016 purchase!! Grin It's like knocking the first domino over, isn't it? Grin

RJnomore1 · 24/08/2016 18:50

I'm going to need mermaid help at some point. I wasn't one for my god daughter but she's about 5'8 or 9 so I'm going to need a long one!

EnglishRose1320 · 24/08/2016 18:52

Not super cheap but not overly pricey, well I don't think so

Space party supplies which have robots on them
plates and things

RoastieToastieReastie · 24/08/2016 18:53

If anyone ever spies the Roald Dahl audio cd set with about five or so books in the set (it has Matilda, Charlie and the chocolate factory etc in the one set) please let me know. It's only around £15 but oos everywhere.

OP posts:
TiaTheTulipFairy · 24/08/2016 18:55

I bought the roald dahl cd set recently from amazon but it was about £24 from there. Has been oos at the bookpeople for ages.

EnglishRose1320 · 24/08/2016 19:00

Don't know what kind of robot your ds wants Dillydolly but these Wall-E ones on eBay, set for 16 with plates, cups etc are currently at 99p with only an hr and a half left

Wall-E

Also on EBay £1.99 for 24 edible cupcake toppers, mix of different robots, always find these a cheap and easy way to make the table tie in with a theme
cake toppers

EnglishRose1320 · 24/08/2016 19:05

Roastie Toastie this eBay seller has the story c.d set but for £23.95 including postage so not such a good bargain.

Roald Dahl

RoastieToastieReastie · 24/08/2016 19:09

Thank you, I've ordered for the £24 mark. Tbh even at that I think it's a great price.

EnglishRose1320 · 24/08/2016 19:13

Not reduced but a 10 set of just figures, my friends dd likes figures much more than play sets on the whole £9.99 lalaloopsey figures

Another set reduced to £5 on Amazon, it's an add on item lalaloopsey set

EnglishRose1320 · 24/08/2016 19:15

Yes it definitely is isn't Reastie, my ds's have the set and it has saved many a tearful bedtime.

I'm trying hard to resist bargains until after pay day next week, particularly after helping my friend get her sale ready in her shop this weekend, so many things I want to buy for myself.

Haudyerwheesht · 24/08/2016 20:01

Re the Roald Dahl audio set, ds got it last year and listens to it at bedtime. If you keep an eye on book people they did get it back in stock fairly regularly at a low price. I think you can set up a stock alert?

Haudyerwheesht · 24/08/2016 20:14

Barbie spy squad secret agent doll is down to £9.50 on Amazon which is lowest ever according to CC. Won't let me link!

I'm thinking of getting mil theatre vouchers. Any opinions? She likes musicals.

Nursenat100 · 24/08/2016 20:40

Yankee candle advent calendar up to £15; those of you who have bought it, do you think it's good value at that price?

DillieDoily · 24/08/2016 20:42

Thank you so much English Rose and Dandelion!

GerudoValley · 24/08/2016 21:11

Gah! I dithered on the shark beds and now they've gone up to £5! Must be due to you lot buying them all and pushing the price up!! Grin
