As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

Firefly has reported the dates for the Sainsburys 25% off clothing this year are likely to be:
23-31 August
20-26 September
25-31 October
28 Nov - 5 Dec
Then 16-22 Feb 2017

Camel camel camel is a great amazon price tracking tool here

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit.

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

Can't believe the tool kits jumped back up already!

I think my DDs, 4 and 3 would like a nerd gun, AIBRidiculous?

EnglishRose1320 · 18/08/2016 13:57

Whilst I have been deciding so many things in my Amazon basket have gone back up in price, including the shark pet bed!

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 18/08/2016 13:58

Thanks fueled and smurfy. Perfect for my very-hard-to-buy-for-mum-who-also-has-a -Christmas-birthday!

EnglishRose1320 · 18/08/2016 14:00

Girl, I'm guessing you mean nerf although Id quite like to See what a nerd gun was like. I would say 3 and 4 are fine, the smaller ones are easy enough to use, the only thing I would suggest is getting or making a target as well, I found at that age they found it more enjoyable to aim for a target rather than getting upset when shooting at each other.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 18/08/2016 14:03

Whoops! Yes nerf gun, not nerd gun!

I saw this on at tescos (going to try a short link

nerf

TipBoov · 18/08/2016 14:11

Managed to get a tool kit, thanks!! DS will love it, he's very into "fixing" things.

EnglishRose1320 · 18/08/2016 14:20

Looks good Girl, I'd say that size or the smaller ones would be about right. Ds2 struggle to pull back any of the bigger ones when he was 3.
My friends dd has this one

Playmobil City Action Fire Brigade Engine Ladder Unit - Amazon £29.99, down from £44.99

OhHolyFuck · 18/08/2016 14:34

Sleeping bags on the halfords ebay site, down from £18 to £3

pirate one

princess one

Whataboutwhathuh · 18/08/2016 14:54

Playmobil fire engine was £23.98 on the 15th so not the lowest currently. I've set an alert for it to go back to that.

Chocolateteabag · 18/08/2016 14:57

SideOrderofChips - White Company check Pj's are worth looking for in the sales as when they change the design/fabric the "old" design are often massively reduced (ie £25-30 down to £8-14ish) I managed to get a few pairs last time they did this which DS1 is now almost out of. But they wash so well that DS2 is getting them.
Not really any immediate help for you now but one to keep an eye on.

itmustbemyage · 18/08/2016 14:57

Thanks OhHolyFuck for the sleeping bag links got 1 of each

SilverGiraffe7 · 18/08/2016 15:59

Pirate / princess sleeping bags are also on the halfords main site for £3 with free click and collect - but the reviews are not good. Apparently the zips break easily. But still tempting for £3!

I'm pretty sure I got these Christmas mini metal bookmarks because of a link from the prequel thread, (thank you whoever posted originally!) but they've arrived and are really cute and worth looking at for teachers end of term - I've got them for all of my DCs' teachers / teaching assistants!

TipBoov · 18/08/2016 16:16

Has anyone spotted anything suitable for 5 year old boys, around £5? I need some things for DS's school/nursery friends!

MrsCrimbo74 · 18/08/2016 16:27

Hello Kitty Wooden table top kitchen was £25.00 now £12.99

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 18/08/2016 16:27

Tipboov I buy packs of books from The Book People for school/nursery presents, then give one or two for birthdays. Works out much cheaper, and it's always a nice gift.

BaggyCheeks · 18/08/2016 16:43

Tipboov definitely recommend the book people. I got a pack of 10 Mog books for £11.99 last week, they're normally £6 each!

They're doing 15% off orders over £25 until midnight tonight with HOORAY

BaggyCheeks · 18/08/2016 16:51

Does anyone know if any of the major toy shops to sales before Christmas?

Another Amazon link - Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit, £7.67 delivered
I've ordered it for my sister Grin

Sorry for posting lots, I was reminded that there's 4 pay days till Christmas and it's set me off!

Whataboutwhathuh · 18/08/2016 16:55

Ssinsbury will have a big toy sale event and the early learning centre will do a 20% off event usually.

jrek · 18/08/2016 17:05

Thanks guys, will try those ideas!

SideOrderofChip · 18/08/2016 17:28
