As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

Firefly has reported the dates for the Sainsburys 25% off clothing this year are likely to be:
23-31 August
20-26 September
25-31 October
28 Nov - 5 Dec
Then 16-22 Feb 2017

Camel camel camel is a great amazon price tracking tool here

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit.

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

Just seen these very cute socks linked on another site. I've bought a few pairs as stocking fillers.

NotPennysBoat · 17/08/2016 21:15

Those socks look ace Curried! When they arrive, please can you report back on sizing?

VoldemortsNipple · 17/08/2016 21:19

Red cup string of lights might be good stocking filler for students £1.99 and free delivery to store from Home Bargains here

silverdrawers · 17/08/2016 21:21

Emoji cushions, the laugh to tears one is £1.12 free postage. I got one of these last year and the quality was excellent.

todayisabeautifulday · 17/08/2016 21:24

Just bought the Toot toot animal thing one poster wrote about through the quidco george £10 code another poster mentioned so hopefully got it down to £10 all included. Thank you!

VoldemortsNipple · 17/08/2016 21:25

Love those socks Curried I've put them on my watch list with God knows what else I'm trying not to get carried away with buying things for dd this year. I must see at least 4 ideas for every one I see for ds's. Girls are so much easier to but for.

CurriedEggs · 17/08/2016 21:39

Thats a good idea Voldermort I need to do something similar. I'll report back Not when they arrive

Ladybirdturd · 17/08/2016 22:47

Chip the white company have some gorgeous traditional pyjamas at Christmas time.... Not cheap though!
Thanks for all the bargains so far everyone Smile

Methenyouplus4 · 17/08/2016 23:30

Thank you for the emoji cushion link.

Could anyone let me know if they see any good Christmas gifts for:

  1. Fishing fanatic
  2. Male school teacher
  3. Scout leaders/sports coaches
  4. 18month old (ideally something around £20 that looks about £50).

Thank you.

Methenyouplus4 · 17/08/2016 23:32

Also- with the name books, how long do they take to arrive and do you have to be refer or could I buy 3 and get a 4th free?

Theimpossiblegirl · 17/08/2016 23:54

I love that other people are thinking about Christmas already.

I picked up a handful of £20 off your first order of £50+ codes in Next today of anyone wants one. They are valid to 16th Sept. PM me if you'd like one.

woodwaj · 18/08/2016 06:29

Methenyouplus4 the free book you get isnt personalised. It a generic alphabet book. Same quality and slightly bigger than the lost my name book. Our original book was a gift but i remember the giver apologising because it was late!! It was also ordered with gift wrap and sent straight to me and it just included a silver envelope!

OneLongDay · 18/08/2016 07:01

Doesn't seem like long!

Thread 2 - the one where we all buy a shark pet bed even if we don't have pets
Nzou1050 · 18/08/2016 07:05

Does anyone have a jumperoo? Always thought we wouldn't have room but have just found fisher price do a space saving foldaway one. £84.99 down to £56.59 at Argos or £50 on Amazon. The only thing is I'm not sure what the best age for them is? My DD will be 8 months at the end of December so I'm wondering whether to get this for Christmas or if it's something she would get a lot of use from earlier if I gave it to her before?

Argos link

Nzou1050 · 18/08/2016 07:07

Wow just added the Amazon one to my basket and it says usually dispatched within 1-2 months!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 18/08/2016 07:08

Personally I would get it now or you won't get that much use out of it

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 18/08/2016 07:09

Agreed, they're great from 6 months onwards. We stopped using ours by 9/10 months

Nzou1050 · 18/08/2016 07:13

Ooo it's also £56.65 at boots so now I'm thinking of all the advantage points! Sorry will stop spamming the thread now!

Nzou1050 · 18/08/2016 07:13

Thank you both, that's what I was thinking.

NotPennysBoat · 18/08/2016 07:16

My dd still loves hers at 13 months!

DangerousMouse · 18/08/2016 07:24

please help - why don't any of the links seem to be clickable for me today? I was able to use them a couple of days ago. Anyone else having this problem? Theres shopping to be done!

Bandycake · 18/08/2016 07:28

New here but have been lurking and reading for years. Bloody love Christmas. You are my people! thia thread is fab. Thank you for all the links

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 18/08/2016 07:33

I'm on a Facebook group and someone asked about pricing for hand made needle felted pet broaches or pictures. They were amazing and I've asked for one for my birthday. At the minute they are £20. The general opinion was she should raise her prices substantially so might be a bargain to get in before she does. They were incredible. Can post link if anyone's interested.

Organisednotobsessed · 18/08/2016 07:44

Oh my goodness Voldemort, I didn't know Home Bargains do free delivery to store. It is one of my favourite shops but our only one is really small. Thank you Flowers

mumbathing · 18/08/2016 07:45

DS3 used his jumperoo daily from 4months. He's 7.5 months now and I don't think he's been in it since he learnt to crawl 3 weeks ago.
We bought it pre-loved and are advertising it for sale already so not loosing money on it.
