I couldn't think of a name Blush for the thread.

Hopefully links in message two work. Thanks to chips with helping me ok so she basically did it compile the initial list.

The Works has lots of Disney books with CDs for £1 each down from £5.99. Out of stock for some of them online but our local store had loads.

For the baby box

Create a baby list
Look up the baby box in the search field, click on the item
On the left hand side of the screen you should see an orange icon saying claim yours (or something to that effect)
When checking out it will show as £46 but underneath it will say promotion applied -£46 making a zero total

Hope this helps!

thedragonflyinn · 14/08/2016 12:11

Should also have said the baby box thing only works if you have Amazon Prime. Even if you take a months subscription at £7.99 to get it, it still seems like a bargain

AlfrescoBalconyWanker · 14/08/2016 12:26

There are mermaid blankets available on Amazon and Aliexpress at similar or lower prices to Reastie's link. I found some fleece ones (rather than wool) on Aliexpress for a tenner. Sharks as well as mermaids. I've never had to pay customs charges for any Aliex goods.

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 13:20

I couldn't get the baby box free, I am on live chat and he couldn't get it free either, so he said told me to order it and he would change the price. He stayed on chat while I ordered and he has changed it, now showing as £0.00

Whataboutwhathuh · 14/08/2016 13:24

Last time if you had a student prime account then it didn't work.

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 13:25

I have full prime, and in the spirit of this thread I got it £20 cheaper when they had an offer on a few weeks ago Grin

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 13:31

I'm actually organising a charity fundraiser at the moment and collecting stuff for that, so the baby box stuff will go in with the donations Smile

nickdrakeslovechild · 14/08/2016 13:41

ooh nice FeelingSmurfy wouldn't it be fab for all of us with prime to get those baby boxes and give them to your local womens aid shelter.

FireflyGirl · 14/08/2016 13:45

You read my mind, nick. I was reading a thread on it just last night and it was the first thing I thought when I saw it!

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 13:46

That would be lovely Smile please do

I always claim free things and if we can't use them then they go in to my donations box (I always have one going, I fundraise whenever I can) or somewhere like a women's shelter. I enter lots of competitions and the same goes for anything I win, I won some vouchers on here recently and they were sold with the £ going to the charity I support

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 13:49

I always claim the free pet food samples type things too and either save them up and give to a rescue centre or put in the foodbank collection point in local shop. Can get a big bag of food at the moment HERE

Badders123 · 14/08/2016 14:05

My sil has just had a baby but I can't seem to order the box even though I am a prime member Sad

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 14:11

Badders have you set up a baby list and added items including the box to it?

If you have and it's still showing full price then go on chat and tell them, they will try to get it to work but if they cant they will tell you to order at full price and then they will change it to free

It doesn't work on Amazon prime student

Badders123 · 14/08/2016 14:24

I've set up a list but it won't add things to it Confused

TheImprobableGirl · 14/08/2016 14:34

GerudoValley · 14/08/2016 14:41

How do you set up a baby list?

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 14:43

Baby List

GerudoValley · 14/08/2016 14:49

woodwaj · 14/08/2016 15:01

I just got mine. I clicked on view baby list and it was in the top left corner as 'claim' i am a second user on my partners prime account and i used his account to order it. I couldnt seem to do it via my account.

confuugled1 · 14/08/2016 15:56

Just a quick reminder for anyone buying stuff from eBay that's coming from China or similar.

It's worth checking on eBay.com to see what the price is there. Not always but frequently enough to make it worthwhile they just transpose prices so 99pence things are priced at 99 cents and do on.

Last year I bought lots of bits and bobs - stocking fillers, party bag boys, small gifts, lawsuits stationery, scarves, Christmas decorations etc - and in almost all cases they'd just switched the £ for a $

I've just checked exchange rates today and Google reckons $1 is 77p which can soon make for big savings if you're buying even just a few things!

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 16:03

confuugled interesting tip!

99percentchocolate · 14/08/2016 16:15

Can't see the baby box on our prime account - does anyone know if they're all sold out now?

FeelingSmurfy · 14/08/2016 16:22

It's still there, click through the link thedragon posted on the page 36

99percentchocolate · 14/08/2016 16:31

Strange, the button isn't there on the wish list and it's the main prime account? Can you order by clicking the normal order button on the link thedragon posted does anyone know?
