Has anyone bought any of the magnatile type toys from Aliexpress? They look a little cheaper on there than Amazon, also would they be suitable for a nearly 4 year old?

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/08/2016 08:48

Kids start also do cash back on Amazon. 1.5% but every penny counts

Twirlstwirlstwirls · 13/08/2016 09:03

Ahhh - the door just went and it was the postman delivering my first Christmas purchase of the season - the coffee machine mentioned up thread!

Thank you for giving me this warm, cosy feeling that I'm getting ahead this year. You are all brilliant xx

GerudoValley · 13/08/2016 09:13

Hello!

Joining your fun thread. I found this:

Tomy Bounce Bounce Tigger £12.47 seems like a good deal?

First time trying to link, we'll see if it works!

Thanks for inspiring me to start bargain hunting for xmas presents so early!

GerudoValley · 13/08/2016 09:17

Does anyone keep items in their Save For Later to see if they drop in price?

Also I'm looking for a good toy cash register/ till and maybe a balance bike if anyone sees one. Also anything nemo/Thomas/jungle book related.

HavingAnOffDAy · 13/08/2016 09:23

My Thorntons order has just arrived & a quick check shows all use by dates well into 2017

Whataboutwhathuh · 13/08/2016 09:29

Great news on the thorntons. Shame you don't get to eat it all.

Camelcamelcamel will alert you to price drops. You just copy the link and paste it into their tool bar and it will tell you highest and lowest prices and allow you to set a destired price and it will email you when it gets there.

Whataboutwhathuh · 13/08/2016 09:29

Should say that's for Amazon.

HavingAnOffDAy · 13/08/2016 09:32

Ickle would I be able to get an add to the theatre group please?

HavingAnOffDAy · 13/08/2016 09:33

whatabout I may have just tested some strawberry creams for freshness Blush

Whataboutwhathuh · 13/08/2016 09:33

Rude not to.

ReluctantCamper · 13/08/2016 09:34

Not really Christmas related, but just picked up some bits and pieces in the H&M sale, and by signing up to their news letter I got 25% off one item and free delivery (paying P&P brings me out in a rash Grin )

backinschool · 13/08/2016 09:42

Hi all, just wanted to mention that I don't think camelcamelcamel are updating your price alerts at the moment. There is a post on the blog page saying that wishlists etc aren't being added or updated just now - they are working to fix it but it may take a while. You can still add things manually but if you just put things on your wishlist (like I do) they don't get added to your alerts.

LostMyRubySlippers · 13/08/2016 09:53

Sorry that Lisa Angel code I posted didn't work when I tried it. Found another 10% code on topcashback but that didn't work for me either!

Badders123 · 13/08/2016 10:08

gerudovalley can recommend the sainsbury pretend and play cash register. DS (3) loves it - has a moving grocery conveyor belt, working calculator, credit card swipe bit, scanner and tannoy. Keeps him occupied for ages! Full price it's £10 but they often have it reduced - we bought it a while back 1/3 off £6.66

Beth2511 · 13/08/2016 11:17

Thought I'd join this years thread as i have just made the first purchases for christmas!
