allthingsred · 11/08/2016 14:23

Interested in mermaid blankets are the child size big enough for 8 yo? Would like to order but not sure wether to get adult size or not

CocoaBum · 11/08/2016 14:41

The one I posted earlier was child size. I tried it on for size and the top of the blanket came up to my waist (I'm 5'5")

For anyone who is buying for the ultimate in 'girly' girls (like my DD), Monsoon have lots of hair clips, headbands, bags etc in their sale for bargain prices. I've just bought several stocking fillers for DD including a set of stick-on earrings for £1.50 which I just know will be the favourite present among the many wonderful bargains found here! Smile

torthecatlady · 11/08/2016 15:52

RumAppleGinger · 11/08/2016 16:25

Oooh I bought a couple of those supergirl capes, and the peppa pig stompeez.
Looking for Harry Potter bargains and non bargains before October as I'm making one for my brother! (24....) on the lookout for a decent wand too, otherwise it's a stick from down't road. I have a marauders mug, was thinking of a colouring book. Oh and welcome back one and all!
Haven't seen 70 doing her bargain shopping yet, she usually twitches towards the end, she can't stay away forever Wink

chocoholic89 · 11/08/2016 18:06

thereisalwaysone · 11/08/2016 18:15

Anyone seen any Paw Patrol bits at a decent price?

RumAppleGinger · 11/08/2016 18:30

thereisalwaysone my local asda had reduced a few Paw Patrol bits. The plush toys were £6 down from £10.

Also keeping an eye out for Rubble obsessed DS2.

1122christy · 11/08/2016 18:35

TheImprobableGirl
Check Aliexpress for Harry Potter wands. I got one for last Xmas and it came in a box and looks exactly like the one I saw at the tours but instead of £30 was £7.
You could also try and get him some Harry Potter sweets like a chocolate frog or Bertie beans, jelly slugs and a bottle of butterscotch beer. Amazon sell these.
Amazon are also doing the colouring in books all 3 for £12.

itmustbemyage · 11/08/2016 18:37

Just bought one of those quad copters at £5, a fun stocking filler for my DH.

chocoholic89 · 11/08/2016 18:42

Yeah I bought 2 for brothers for stocking fillers. I actually bought 1 last year at £30 for dp! 😤
