A huge succulent joint of pork with the crispiest crunchiest crackling imaginable!!
My dh is a butcher and has prepared this piece of meat to be perfect...oh, and he's cooking it too!!

Bon Appetit!!

Lamb and gammon.

gammon will be cooked to eat as and when through.

Sounds yummy!

We're having duck tomorrow and a yummy chicken casserole on Xmas day.

Mind you I've had 3 turkey lunches this week so I haven't missed out. Hardly ever have turkey on Xmas day.

We're having beef - except for my parents, who are having chestnut stuffing (they are veggies).

We have duck, chicken and beef in the fridge but aren't yet sure which to have on Christmas day.

80sMum · 23/12/2006 21:07

We have goose. Just like a big duck, really

charliecat · 23/12/2006 21:08

Im having yorkshire pud filled with roasted veg and gravy, with roast spuds and parsnip and the usual veg.....mmmmmmmmmmmm

ChristmasPresence · 23/12/2006 22:37

We have a large goose and a cockerel - DS (4) watched in amazement as my dad removed it's head and insides (yuk and double yuk). DD (10) was most interested in the contents of its stomach. I couldn't even bear to be in the same room (I'm such a hypocrite). Still at least we know it's fresh!
