Surely it must be Mary! She gave birth to Jesus, nursed him, brought him up, and was there for him throughout his life. Isn't that the perfect example of a mum?

Incidently, despite at least one of the papers getting it wrong, The Immaculate Conception is NOTHING to do with Jesus' conception, its to do with Mary's conception. If you believe in the concept of "original sin", the sin babies are born with, Mary was conceived without original sin (and please don't lets start an argument on how babies can be born with sin! )
