Help! DS just found one of his Santa presents!!!!

Drat! DS wanted a big Star Wars Lego thingie. Bought it last week and put it in wardrobe in basement. He and DH just going out to rugby training and DH went to wardrobe to get his fleece. DS saw the Star Wars box.

Cue much asking of "what is in the Star Wars box" with great excitement.

Can hear DH saying he doesn't know.

Any suggestions?

my kids have done this over the last couple of christmases.i just say either it's for the kids next door to nannas or father christmas hasn't picked it up to put his magic on it.i know it doesn't sound convincing but he's only 5 .he won't care as long as he gets it on christmas morning. just act dumb until then!

This happened to my sister last year and she explained that as it's clearly impossible for FAther Christmas to o everywhere on Xmas eve sometimes he drops the presents off early...

Well I think i got away with it!

He did ask and I just said it wasn't for him, that it was for one of the children in the orphanage (which he is used to - he has helped me buy stuff before). He then wanted to know which Star Wars thing it was and I said that it was one that he already had. He is now worried that the "boy" will need someone to help him build it.
