Today: Wrap final 3/4 prezzies and do tags. Have one friend left to drop off prezzie for (although she may get to me first!). Food shop (on foot so only what I can carry). Clean laminate floors, quick dust, make up beds for guests and a bit of a tidy.

Tomorrow: Hoover, clean bathrooms, another food shop on foot. Catch up on ironing. Would be nice to spend afternoon pampering myself and playing game with DCs.

Xmas Eve: Hopefully all the above done and just need to take Mum to cemetery as early as poss and collect MIL on way back, and enjoy the festivities.

Tonight - Wrap DH's presents whole he's out.
Tomorrow- Last trip to the shops for digestives and melon forgotten yesterday.
Christmas eve - make cauliflower cheese, dauphinoise potatoes, two puddings, Yorkshire batter, par boil roasties and set table. Push hoover around a bit and go to church. Return home, open wine and put feet up!

Clean bathrooms on Xmas Eve and Hoover through the house.
Clean out fire.
Last minute shopping for essentials and bits for dh.
Make pavlova and banoffee pie.
Make choc orange cheesecake

So not much really.
I have to work tomorrow and deliver some cakes but once that's over I can relax a bit!

Pretty much finished wrapping now. Need to catch up on laundry and pack clothes for our (brief) stay at mum's. Not hosting so don't need to worry about food except that we have family visiting us after the 25th.

Should really tidy up more but I'm so beyond exhausted that I don't care anymore!

Oh and hopefully tomorrow we will be making a couple of tree decorations for family gifts, as we have some clay left.

Tomorrow- work until 3pm. Get nails done. Have quick dinner and drive round to see lights.

Christmas Eve- off from work. Have nice coffee and cake breakfast with dh and dd. Hang around, last minute wrapping, pack overnight bags and then off to mum's for Christmas Eve!

All I've got left to do is get through security and drink champagne Xmas Grin

Oh god...so much!

Have been bed bound with the flu since Saturday night Sad Feeling mildly better today, at least enough to actually leave my room and make it to the kitchen table. Have missed 2 days of work and am desperately choking back all the cold and flu remedies that I can so that I can try and make it in tonight. They're so pissed off at me because of the time of year.

Still need to do some food shopping and clean the house from top to bottom. Few bits still to wrap for DD too. Don't know how the hell I'm fitting all of this in around a night shift tonight! Argh!

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 23/12/2015 14:43

Not much really. The joys of working and having a very low key Christmas as a consequenceXmas Grin

Unpack my food shop when that arrives. Fingers crossed its all there.
Might push the Hoover around in a minute.

Eat Christmas food and decide which Christmas film to watch......
