What to have for dinner Christmas Eve?

This year it's just my son and I for Christmas. I have planned a buffet 'party tea' for Christmas Day and so was planning for a sit down meal Christmas Eve but I'm struggling for ideas.

We're having all the things we won't have in the following days! So curry, chicken in black bean and spaghetti bologna use, basically everyone has picked a favourite. Then there will be lots of leftovers for Boxing Day too

we are doing a beef stroganoff - just bought all the bits at the store
