Have got a couple of parties at home this year. Just wondering what people drink who don't drink alcohol. Coke/lemonade/orangejuice/squash will be available but they all sound a bit ordinary.

Any ideas gratefully received:)

I hate adult soft drinks

I'm quite happy with a diet Pepsi or lemonade

You could just buy a few different things e.g.different cordials and some fizzy juices and some fruit juices (small cartos so people don't feel bad about opening a lage one) and let people make their own mocktails - some frozen raspberries and slices of orange and lemon etc and some parasoles etc for a laugh.

Yes to mocktails. DSs love virgin mojitos and one which is made with cucumber juice/cranberry/lemon/mint/and soda water.

Belvoir makes a winter spiced cordial which is more festive than ordinary cordial.

Cranberry juice is very Christmassy. Ginger beer is yum as is posh lemonade.

"Fentimans drinks are botanically brewed and contain up to 0.5% alcohol-by-volume."

So they're not alcohol free. It would be giving vegetarians food with only a little bit of meat in.

I usually drink water, juice, lemonade, Coke, those flavoured fizzy waters as day to day. Nice treats are schloer, appetiser, j2o.

I love the m&s ones!! They taste great and I agree with pp, i love the pop!!
I like non alcoholic kopperburg too, the pear is my favourite. I personally hate elderflower, but I would really appreciate someone making their effort

As a tea totaller, I love nothing more than when someone offers me a cup of tea.Blush even at parties. I'm instantly relaxed.

Or failing that, a simple glass of juice is fine. I'm not keen on those fancy Schloer/belvoir drinks, too fizzy and sweet.

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 15/12/2015 06:27

Schloer is quite sweet but we get it because the dc love it and I tend to drink that. They do one with a cork which makes it more fun.

lavendersun · 15/12/2015 06:51

I don't drink very much alcohol - the naice soft drinks up thread are nice, but fairly sweet, esp San pelligrino cans and anything fentimans. I couldn't drink more than one drink of any of them.

I like fever tree tonic water on its own. Next best thing for me is just plain sparkling water.

Tomato juice with Worcester sauce,Cranberry juice,
Tropicana smooth orange with lemonade, lime cordial, Belvoir raspberry are all good options serve in a jug with ice maybe
Too much sugar in Coke and J2O
