Please help me find something for MIL

MIL, a young 72, likes golf, doesn't really watch TV, reads. Not sure what perfume she likes. Instructed not to buy bath type smellies. We have already bought a pretty scarf and need something else around the £20 mark. I'm losing the will to live and DH is being utterly hopeless. Any suggestions gratefully received!

My Mil is getting the adult Ladybird books 'The Husband' and 'The Wife', I think she'll like them as they use the pictures from the original books. Also a local cheese she like and homemade bics to go with it. About £20 in total.

I second the Magazine subscription. I got it for my MIL one year (Essentials) and she loved it, raved about it for about 3 years so we got her another one (that time for Good Housekeeping) It was definitely her favourite present, she said she really looked forward to it being delivered each month and she'd settle down with a nice coffee and a treat and pour over it.
