I have been tasked with buying a Christmas gift for an 11 year old girl in the family secret santa.

My girls are 20 and 24, so it has been some time since I have bought for this age range.

Said 11 year old girl (according to her mother, DH's cousin) is 'precocious' and 'not girly'. I have never met her - long story.

What on earth do 11 year old want these days? Mine were happy playing Snake on their Nokia 3310s at 11.

I'm clueless. £25 quid spend limit.

Many thanks.

My 11yo DD has got a skateboard thing with just one wheel each end (they must have a name) - it was just under £25.

ripstick/waveboard? My eldest DD had one of these at about that age too.

wallywobbles - you mean a pennyboard. My dd loves hers.

i would second fatface pjs
costa coffee voucher - for hot choc and general hanging about
some sort of bag - superdry, jackwills etc all popular brands
but if you really don't know her, vouchers are always popular

also can recommend apatchy.co.uk

I have a non girly 11 yo, by that I mean doesn't wear dresses, paint her nails and isn't into 1D or Justin Beaver - she still likes clothes and smellies though.
Lush and smiggle would top her list. Other things she's asked for are the new now cd, a pug bedding set and an animal onesie with ears and feet.

How about the dancing water speakers?

You can get them on amazon if you type the above in and i think work off most phones/tablets/pcs.

I've just bought a beautiful super soft throw for the daughter of my good friend.
It was £20 from Notcutts garden centre in their gift department. It's folded and wrapped gift like. John Lewis also have nice ones and tesco have thinner ones but just as soft for about £15. I think they look like lovely gifts for an 11yr old girl regardless of her likes and dislikes. She can wrap it around her whilst reading on her bed.

I've got my 11YO DD a 2-D/3-D backpack as well. They are inexpensive things but look so odd. I have high hopes she'll like it. DH was amazed at how cartoonish it really looks in real life. V odd!
