  1. Dp - He likes polo shirts and I hate them, but I know that he would be v happy with a khaki or green one. Anybody seen one that isn't too expensive or offensive?! Also, any recommendations for gifts for runners that are easy to buy on the high street?

  2. Army-loving 9 year old - about £15 to spend.

  3. Nice, fitted plain white button up shirt for dd2, size 8, and not at all see through.

Thanks in hopeful anticipation!

Ds only uses under supervision and takes it to cadets when required.

What is a survival tin, please? And also, a survival bracelet?

I wouldn't buy a Swiss Army Knife, more because it's not my child than any other reason.

Probably not the tin either then. It's. Skit if essentials for surviving in the wild. Usually has a small blade in (which I took out when ds2 was 9) but has things like survival blanket, etc.

How is his Readung? The sas survival guide is a good read apparently.

Wireless headphones (running ones) are great, got DH some, loves his runs now. Look on Amazon about £20.

Thanks. He's not at all tech-y, so doubt that earphones would be used tbh. He doesn't have an MP3 player or anything like that.

Paracord bracelets - www.paracordshop.co.uk/

And what they can be used for - adventure.howstuffworks.com/survival/wilderness/10-ways-a-survival-bracelet-save-life.htm

I think they look cool :)
