Male, 60s. I was thinking the Mary Beard book about ancient Rome but it's very....particular. Would really appreciate some safer suggestions. TIA.

I second the Carlucios hampers - they are gorgeous this year, there's a store in the Metro Centre if you're anywhere near otherwise they might sell them in the normal Carlucios restaurants
