Sorry if I've missed a thread on here about this already.

I'm stumped. She has everything so it's become impossible to spoil her!! Any ideas?

A Radley purse and a bouquet of flowers delivered on Christmas eve.

A Laura Mercier caviar eyeshadow stick (full size).
I bought the giftset for myself, but already have some of the colours so will give her the duplicates (the alternative is that they'll just get old in a drawer here before I'd start using them). I also have a stack of samples of perfumes and skincare for her - that might be the most exciting part of the present.

And I am bringing a Mulberry Bayswater home for her. She lives abroad and wanted one of the bags from the outlet (I got a bit of discount on top of the usual outlet price). She'll pay for it herself, but it is just around half price of the price of the Mulberry bags she can buy where she lives and she doesn't want to pay that much.

A Joules handbag
Perfume
Lush bathbombs
Favourite chocolate & wine
1 line a day 5 year diary

Lovelydiscusfish · 04/12/2015 19:12

Various tops, a couple of books, some coasters (she asked for these) and a photo mug of dd.

katienana · 04/12/2015 19:21

2 clarins gift sets eyes and lips. She is easy to buy for and makes a list so it's impossible to get wrong.

Sparkletastic · 04/12/2015 19:26

2 Clnique Chubby Sticks sets - one for eyes and other for lips / cheeks, bottle of Caudalie Divine Oil, calendar with photos of the DDs.

didireallysaythat · 04/12/2015 19:36

Wow ! I wish I was your mother ! I'd kill for a Jo Malone perfume alone ! In fact, perhaps I should give DH a list - that would be new territory for us.

I don't get my mum anything but she doesn't get me anything either. I assumed that was the norm - I left home 20+ years ago but I see her 2-3 times a year.

Madbengalmum · 04/12/2015 19:41

Creme de la mer, chanel perfume and travel perfume, elemis marine cream, nightshirts, chocolates, books
Yes, she is spoilt
Last year it was a chanel bag and an ipad, amongst other things

didireallysaythat · 04/12/2015 19:45

Madbeng I want to be your mum ! Chanel bag ! Ipad ! Wow wow !

Ragwort · 04/12/2015 19:50

We no longer exchange presents apart from a £5 'token' gift under the tree; we give each other charity vouchers - she supports Crisis at Christmas and we have a day out together as well which we do more or less every week anyway Grin.

nattyknitter · 04/12/2015 19:55

A new tablet, hers is dying and she uses it every day.

I'm also doing her a stocking, as we worked out she hasn't had one since she was a child. Loads of little knick nacks like hand cream, favourite chocs, bottle of Baileys, earrings etc. Mustn't forget the satsumas and nuts.

firefly78 · 04/12/2015 20:02

my mum has recently inherited some money and treated herself to lots of new things so i literally have no idea what to get her!!!

sirphlebas · 04/12/2015 20:09

I've got her a couple of books (a sewing & a guide to Bali) & a necklace, dsis has got her Bobbi Brown lipstick & dbro a Roberts radio. It is also her birthday a couple of days after Christmas, I've got her Jo Malone (lime/basil/madarin), dsis a print and a vegan cookery book & dbro a fitbit.

I got MIL chocolates, some posh slippers & a cashmere gloves & scarf set - I find her really hard to buy for (dh isn't particularly helpful), I think BIL has got her one or other of the Swedish crime series as a boxset.

MissSmiley · 04/12/2015 20:14

Tickets to see elton John (my sister and I will go too).

Baconyum · 04/12/2015 20:15

M&s vouchers - impossible to buy for what she wants she buys herself anyway. Can't wear scent (allergies) ditto most skin/cosmetics, has loads if good jewellery anyway. No hobbies argh!

makemineasnowball · 04/12/2015 20:33

I have a nightmare buying for my DM and usually end up buying a clothes voucher. She lives very modestly, not into big name brands. Not in best of health so doesn't have hobbies or into activities. Not really well enough to travel. Already has an iPad.
???

Corygal · 04/12/2015 21:02

An M&S jersey so ghastly that I took one look and pretended it was out of stock. The old girl sounded so heartbroken that I then had to make up a big lie about 'tracking down the last size 10, in Aberdeen'.

It's acrylic, turtleneck in a shade described as 'suntan'. You'd have lied too.

Footle · 04/12/2015 21:03

I am somebody's D(mostly)M and what I really want for Christmas is a large tube of Aveda Foot Relief, oh and some small sharp scissors , and one of those lightweight power-booster things for when my phone runs out of juice when I'm out of reach of a socket. Please.

Speederman · 04/12/2015 21:09

Tickets to see Cats

Badders123 · 05/12/2015 08:23

Mum hates xmas.
Always has.
Refuses to tell us what she would like so I'm taking her and her friend out for Sunday lunch tomorrow as her gift.

iwannadancewithsomebody · 05/12/2015 09:00

I have got DM an adult colouring book with Pencils and a jumper.

DMIL has got an Osprey bag and a subscription to Good Housekeeping

Crunchycookie · 05/12/2015 12:33

I've bought my DM a hot water bottle with a lovely furry cover - she is glued to hot water bottles during winter - I still need more though so getting some ideas from here
