I work full time approx 60 hrs per week in the office at moment, have never done a Christmas dinner before, am working up to Xmas eve inclusive with loads still to do at work this year, have no supermarket slot booked, haven't given it one seconds thought or planning. I'm screwed aren't I?

We had sushi for Christmas lunch a few years back. It was very nice and would suit all your guests.

Firstly, speaking as Jew, I would be delighted with whatever was served - it's not "our" holiday, so we tend to get less hung up on whether things are traditional. Just keep an eye on not mixing meat and milk products - i.e. you need a non-dairy dessert, and watch for pork gelatine - and you're OK.

I think mains of salmon + vegan roast sound fab! A few veggies on the side, gravy for whoever wants in, job done.
